In 1986 The Law Firm of John J. Fleming, Jr. came into being. John Fleming, known as Jock, moved to Colorado with his family from Virginia. He began his practice offering a broad range of legal services.
In 1995 the firm relocated to a new location where Jock practiced on a solo basis. In 1999 the practice grew when the firm added an associate.
In 2000 Michael C. Stern joined the practice and the firm became Fleming & Stern.
In 2003 the firm relocated back to where it started. Mr. Stern retired from the practice of law in 2008.
In 2015, Mr. Fleming merged firms with another longtime local attorney, Daniel J. Lowenberg and Mountain Law Group, LLC Fleming & Lowenberg operates with Mr. Fleming, Mr. Lowenberg, associate attorney Anna L. Cooling, and two support staff.
