Flexibile Flyer Sled Museum at the Moorestown Public Library, Moorestown, New Jersey
The Flexible Flyer Sled Museum at the Moorestown Public Library was established in the winter of 2015 as a permanent exhibit showing 26 Flexible Flyer sleds produced from 1890 to 2014. In addition to showcasing these sleds to the public the museum also has a collection of Flexible Flyer sled and S.L. Allen and Co. historical items and memorabilia. The hours of the Museum are the same hours of operation of the public library : Monday thru Thursday 9 -9, Friday and Saturday 9-5 and closed Sunday. Hours are subject to the Moorestown Library's hours of operation.
Flexible Flyer Sled Museum is to display, and educate about the history of the Flexible Flyer sled.
The Museum and Moorestown Township Library does not purchase sleds for the exhibit. It is a permanent exhibit on loan to the Moorestown Library. If you want to contribute or loan a unique Flexible Flyer sled to the exhibit, please contact the Curator of the Museum, Philip Snow at [email protected]. Items provided may or may not be displayed and will be used at the discretion of the Curator for display or fund raising purposes to support the Library.
