Born from the work of talented teachers and creators in the field of integrative movement, Flight School formed in 2010 as a loose association of dedicated acroyoga practitioners. Since that time we have had a rotating group of about ten core members with a long list of guests and collaborators. Flight School seeks to meld modern and traditional dance, yoga asana, acrobatics, movement arts, visual theater, music, capoiera, circus, burlesque, writing, film, and photography into a rich multi-media tapestry dedicated to inspiring others.
Our style is a fusion of our varied artistic backgrounds and the desire to create work that is compelling, beautiful, playful, and challenging. Performance take place everywhere from galleries and museums, to clubs and street festivals. With material that is suitable for a wide range of audiences and preferences, we focus on creating fun and interactive themes for your event. We are available for weddings, parties, openings, school and corporate events, and theatrical engagements.
