About

Feeding Our Community

Description

Flint Street Fellowship (generally referred to as The Food Pantry) is a ministry that provides groceries, nourishing meals, resource information, and fellowship to people in need. It serves the people of Eureka Springs and Carroll County west of the Kings River.

In 2014, nearly 4300 food distributions were made to individuals and families. The Fellowship accomplishes its goals with the help of over 30 volunteers, who provide over 2,500 volunteer hours each year. The Pantry provides those in need with food and with fellowship, responding to all with humanity and respect.

Mission

The Mission of the Flint Street Fellowship Food Pantry shall be to assist and supply food to those individuals who either have special, short-term needs due to their temporary illnesses or health conditions, temporary unemployment and other temporary conditions; or to those individuals who have long term continuing conditions requiring long-term assistance such as the mentally or physically disabled, the elderly, children, and others with long-term or permanent need for such assistance, such as those working at jobs that don't pay a living wage and, therefore, are forced to seek food assistance.

Very nice people who operate this food and clothes bank.
Today everyone was pleasant. Eye contact, civil tones of voice. I keep forgetting I am on the precipice of my new focus; that is, live in my frequency. Nothing else is as important. But freedom is for everyone, including me. Some group must feel they are "the authority on human behavior" in America. I wonder who? I must add this place is neat and clean and the servers kind and considerate. And have a sense of humor. Sound hurts as well as heals humans. We have a grave responsibility to use the sound our voices make to heal each other and the planet.
Love this place. Everyone is so kind and Donna has a heart of gold. Please donate whatever you can, food, clothes, household items. They absolutely changed my life for the better. I am eternally thankful to Donna and all of the volunteers.
What's really going on. Like the woman from heart of many ways who did not ask me did I understand harmony. I know nothing about harmony yet she made an assumption. Just as she assumed I interrupted her conversation due to some cultural urge. No I did it just to see what she would do. She didn't like it. Neither do I I am on my own path in my own identity. Oh well.
Selflessly helping the community in so many ways. Food bank monday and Wednesday's till 2pm and community lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Community lunch doesnt mean you must be poor. They run on donations and it is way better than the 6 dollar meal you get at McDonald's plus it is home cooked and that money goes a lot further with these lovely people. There is a clothing bank there as well. Food clothing and other items are always needed and monetary donations are very welcome indeed. Come have a meal Tues and thurs and meet some people you will be helping with donations.
You get alot of food and can pick 4 free items of clothing if in need such a Blessing
Yippee Kaiyea I have the same freedom you do " I like your necklace" could be , translated into: " I hide my sinful desire from her gaze". She thought, " What un- disciplined speech might betray me so easily , in the quest of a worthless bauble?". I declare myself champion. ,unvanquishable, and undefeated title holder of eternal happiness. .
So friendly. So helpful. So needed. So loved. So appreciated. So blessed. They where there when I needed them. In a small comunity that is saying a lot. So glad to give back when I can. Come check out the zombie Crawl next year. It supports their ministy.
Thank you. The food received from donors is wonderful and very much appreciated. The staff recently have been warm and courteous. The place is clean.. Thanks again.
I do enjoy the assistance but having to wade through the socialist cultural brainwashing is a bit tedious. If the children insist then I must resist.
