Sofie did such an amazing job with our wedding flowers - She was recommended by our venue in the city and I’m so happy that we decided to hire her. She was very transparent about breaking down the cost of everything and giving us options of what was possible within our budget, and sticking to that. She really listened to what we wanted and took direction from our inspiration photos but made them her own. The bouquet, boutonnières and floral arrangements were so special and beautiful - even better than we had imagined!

Before I met with Sofie, I didn't really want flowers to be such a big part of my wedding budget. I had a rustic venue and thought the rustic setting alone would be beautiful enough without the addition of expensive floral arrangements. Sofie changed this view completely! Honestly, my favorite part of the wedding were the floral arrangements. My wedding guests could not stop talking about the flowers, and from what I've heard, there was quite a competition for who would take home the centerpieces. Sofie knew exactly what color flowers and what type of arrangement would go with my rustic venue and rose gold sequin bridesmaid dresses. She was able to tie in everything together with her floral arrangements. I really want to thank Sofie for arranging meetings for me and my husband because his schedule didn't allow us to visit during business hours. We later found out that there was a medical emergency for her son just days prior to our wedding, but Sofie never once lost focus during our final meeting. She was able to deliver exactly what she promised and more on our wedding day. We knew we could trust Sofie with the floral decorations from day 1 of our meeting. She transformed our view of flowers and really showed us how much flowers can actually enhance a setting. I highly recommend Sofie to anyone who needs floral arrangements whether for an event or just a special occasion, and I guarantee her talent will surpass your expectations. She really works with your budget and makes sure you're happy with what she offers. Sofie is just a wonderful person in general, and she really helped calm my nerves during the whole wedding planning process.

A meeting of fate. In my quest for a reputable wedding florist, I sought my handy dandy online tools. The Knot, Wedding Wire, Instagram, Facebook, and a bunch of other wedding-related blogs... you name it, I read it. And thus, I came up with this incredibly detailed list of florists that I set up appointments for and possibly might have worked with. However, one afternoon, after a doctor's appointment, I just happened to drive by Sofie's shop in Fort Lee, NJ... and thought to myself, "that is a very quaint and lovely shop window..." When I got to my house, I went on Google and hunted down her phone number. I set up an appointment with her and... she was my wedding-florist-unicorn. I just could not believe it. I stepped in, and her brick and mortar shop looked like a styled magazine spread. It was... amazing, and she was even more amazing. In our initial meeting, I told her my budget, the venue, and the colors... and she and I ran ideas by each other. It was one of the most fun meetings that I had for wedding planning. I later shared my Pinterest board with her.... and she made magic happen. Sofie's sense of color and overall stylistic sense was exactly what my wedding needed. My wedding flowers were a little bit of me, and a lot of her sensibility in creating a wonderful overall ambiance on the day of. The little details and thought that she put into making the floral crowns for my flower girls, the arch... everything was just so beautiful. I felt like I stepped into my very own fairy-tale book. The florals/arrangements added to the beauty of the venue instead of contrasting too much with the wall colors or etc. it was really my secret garden brought to life. My philosophy is, let the person that's good at the what they do, do what they are good at. Sofie really came through. I'm very glad that God brought me to her! She also does smaller floral arrangements for graduations, christenings, Mother's Day, Father's Day, stylized shoots... ! I had asked her to make some arrangements for my mom and mother-in-law for Mother's day : Those were beautiful as well! I also found that she teaches classes at her shop, also can't wait to take one, soon. I am so glad to have found a family florist and look forward to including her work for our future family events :
