Bird Sanctuary and Gardens with a children's garden, a vegetable garden, Remembrance fountain, gazebo, stage, and dedicated areas.
13-acres from curb to curb filled with gardens, shrubbery, trees, children's garden and programs, and pavilions comprise the area known as Centennial Gardens and Bird Sanctuary. The gardens are a cooperative venture of the FP Conservation Society and the Village of Floral Park, dedicated on October28, 2000. The gardens were showcased in September, 2008 when the Village of Floral Park Centennial was hosted at the gardens.
Our mission is to provide passive recreation for the residents of the Floral Park community and provide educational opportunites for all in a setting that features our environment, learning about nature and gardening.
