First things first, I don't think I've ever started a dental procedure review with the words "Loved It" but I can honestly say, this was the most comfortable, painless and at times super fun dental experience that I've ever had! Dr. Marcus and his staff are the best of the best. They explain everything that's going to happen, and know how to manage your expectations and prepare you for the procedure. Dr. Marcus cares deeply about his patients and is passionate about what he does -this was evident upon meeting him for the very first time for my consultation. If you are in need of periodontal dentistry work or an implant, do not waste a minute looking for anyone else just get yourself over to Floral Vale Periodontics and Implants.
Dr. Marcus is knowledgeable and professional, with a personable manner that puts you at ease. He has successfully completed three dental implants on me over the years. I hardly feel anything while I'm in the chair, and the recovery period is remarkably quick. Dr. Marcus always calls you personally the evening of your surgery to see how you are feeling, which is a nice touch! His staff are also very pleasant and helpful. Most recently, Dr. Marcus was able to fix a cosmetic issue that I had been dealing with since I was a child. My top teeth, especially the two front teeth, were stained an awful yellow-brown color as a result of having too much flouride in my youth. I was always self-conscious of my teeth but had grown used to the idea that there was little that could be done about them without expensive bonding or veneers. Some dentists I've had were even hesitant to make any kind of treatment plan. However, during a routine implant appointment, Dr. Marcus discovered he would be able to take care of the issue quickly and painlessly in his office, just by drilling the affected areas. He tested it out on a back tooth with success, and he was able to complete the procedure immediately. I can't describe just how wonderful it is to have a "normal" smile again! Dr. Marcus truly went above and beyond, and I would recommend him to anyone.
A++ From start to finish, I was extremely pleased with my experience with Dr. Edward Marcus and his entire staff. While getting dental work done is not usually on my favorite list of things to do, I realize that it is in my best interest to have the work done and to have it done sooner rather than later. Dr. Marcus and his very friendly staff made what I thought would be a pretty uncomfortable "implant" procedure surprisingly painless. My wife is a Dental Hygienist at a dental office in Langhorne, she had work done with Dr. Marcus first and then, highly recommended him to me. Even though I don't always listen to my Dental Hygienist wife when it comes to flossing, : I am really glad that I listened to her about Dr. Marcus. I would definitely recommend Floral Vale Periodontics & Implants and Dr. Marcus to everyone.
My primary dentist suggested I go see Dr. Marcus to extract a damaged front tooth and place grafting material and a new implant. My entire experience at Floral Vale was outstanding. The office staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The office is very clean, and they seem to have all modern equipment. The extraction and placement of the grafting material and post went so quickly and effortlessly that I was surprised when Dr. Marcus told me that he was done with that phase of the work. He then started hand crafting a temporary front tooth for me while I was there. His attention to detail, fit, and appearance was exceptional. I have total confidence that my final tooth will look amazing. THANK YOU DR. MARCUS!
I have just had dental implants placed by Dr Edward Marcus in order to replace teeth I had lost. Although I have referred many of my own patients to Dr Marcus in the past with exceptional results this has been the first time that I was treated as a patient. Personally I found Floral Val Periodontics and Dental Implantology to have excellent equipment, state of the art technology and compassionate staff members housed in a modern and clean office. I can say with authority hat I would recommend Dr Marcus and his staff to anyone who needs their Dentistry to be placed in competent hands.
I have been a patient of Dr. Edward Marcus for about seven years for implants and other difficult periodontal work. He has my full trust. Dr. Marcus takes the time to explain everything, and calls in the evening after a procedure to make sure the patient is not in distress. His staff is friendly and caring. The dental hygienist whom I see there is very competent and also friendly and caring. Although periodontal work is not a pleasant experience, I would definitely recommend Dr. Marcus if the necessity arises.
I cannot say enough about our positive experience with Dr. Marcus and the staff of Floral Vale Periodontics. Our 8 year old son recently had a frenectomy procedure done in office. During our initial consultation, Dr. Marcus did a thorough examination to determine if this was the optimal time for the procedure to be done. He was in contact with my son's orthodontist and followed up with me after the consultation to discuss the best course of action following their discussion. On the afternoon of the procedure, my son was very scared and anxious. Dr. Marcus and his staff did a wonderful job keeping him and me! calm by talking us through every step and distracting my son with casual conversation about his interests. Dr. Marcus checked in with me via text the night of the procedure to inquire about how our son was doing and complimented him on his bravery at our follow-up appointment a week later, which made him feel great. The end result of the frenectomy was perfect. My son's smile looks beautiful and he is now ready for the next phase of his ortho. treatment. I would definitely recommend Dr. Marcus and his team to anyone in need of their services.
Dr. Marcus was superb dealing with a problem implant I received elsewhere. He was 100% committed to resolving the issue and making sure I had a successful implant. I would highly recommend Dr. Marcus and would not hesitate to be treated here again! The office staff is very professional, friendly and efficient. A great practice all around!
I recently moved to the Philadelphia area and that meant that I had to find a new periodontist. A friend who had been coming to this practice for a while and was highly satisfied with the care he was receiving recommended Dr. Marcus. I had no trouble making an appointment and having the records sent over from my former periodontist. The office staff was very helpful and pleasant. Annette did a very thorough cleaning. Dr. Marcus was terrific at answering each of my questions - and I had quite a few. My total experience was excellent.
I have nothing but good things to say about Dr Edward Marcus and his staff. Dr Marcus was able to explain the implant procedure to me so I could completely understand it. I was nervous that morning but he and his staff were so great at putting me at ease. Clearly he loves what he does and he is very good at it. His staff was always pleasant and friendly. I highly recommend.
