Made an appointment 1.5 months in advance, advised them of my health insurance and was told they accept it. Made it to my appointment wasn’t greeted or given any instructions by the staff mind you. Handed over my health insurance card and was abruptly told my insurance isn’t accepted. Excuse me? Why was I told the insurance was accepted when it isn’t? Why was my time wasted? Unacceptable. Not even an apology for the mistake or anything.
Do not go here, the doctor does not care about you, they care about their bank account. They will do unnecessary procedures that your insurance doesn't cover. They will not tell you that the insurance doesn't cover it, they'll say "I can do this or I can not, no biggie, up to you." Of course I want it done, since I assume it's covered in the visit. I didn't realize I had to nickel and dime MY DOCTOR. Insanely unprofessional. I figured the bad reviews were from the past. No, it's a very present problem. Read them all and realize there is a big problem in this office.
I kind of think Dr. David Rabaja saved my daughter from being hospitalized!!! After 3 visits to the local minute clinic and one to the Oviedo ER over the course of 5 days everyone kept telling my daughter she had strep and to deal with it. She was in extreme pain, her throat was green and had a fever for 13 days. I call Orlando Ear Nose & Throat and told the front desk my problem. The girl who took my call squeezed me in the next morning with a Physicians Assistant. He was great! He recognized there was something serious going on and had Dr. Rabaja look her over. She had fleshing eating bacteria on her tonsils. Very rare and very serious. They sent her home with a grocery back of antibiotics. They had her come in a few days later and even took a phone call from us at 9 at night durning the 4th of July. I don't know where she would be if they had not seen her. I can't thank the staff enough for recognizing she needed to be seen and treated immediately. This is an amazing team!!!!
Excellent experience as a cash patient. The staff were so pleasant and Dr. Rabaja put my mind at ease with his care, listening, and attention. I appreciate that they take cash customers and the diagnostics were included in the fee. Very reasonable and if we need more care we will definitely come back.
Yeap- you heard it before. I have been coming to this practice for many years, you are always seem close to an hour after your appointment- I have been waiting for 1hour and 20 minutes and I have not been seen yet! They are terrible with keeping schedules and coordinating patients- they have no regard for patients time!
The staff at this office were amazing! When I called to make the appointment the person helping me was very kind and also shared my concerns. Yes this is a busy office and there was a wait, however, it was expected and also the norm for a lot of medical offices right now. When I arrived the office staff was efficient, respectful and kind. Once I was in a room, Dr. Harrington came in, discussed my reason for the visit and immediately took a look. He was was very professional and had a great "bedside" manner. I felt at ease when he examined me, even when he had to use a camera to take a peek at my throat. I had been dealing with discomfort for quite some time and by him actually looking and showing me what was going on, my stress and anxiety dropped. The nurse was very personable and professional as well. For as busy as this office was and how many other patients were there, I felt that I was being cared for and listened to. I highly recommend this practice.
I took my mother to get a small nodule on her face checked out. The doctors and the front desk were very kind. The only reason I am giving it a 3 star review is because the office itself was very filthy, the dr did not use gloves on her, and when they used the equipment in the room, it never got cleaned, nor was there any protective coverage on it when it was used. I thought that they would clean it upon leaving the room, but the next guest walked in immediately after us. My mother felt very uncomfortable and does not want to go back.
I should of read the reviews before going here. I just got the bill for balance owed after insurance. Major price gouging!!! Total bill $967.00. $461.00 just for a small camera up my nose that took all of 2 min!! $266.00 just for being a new paitent!! $203.00 for a hearing test that took 5 min. $38.00 for a ear pressure test that took 20 seconds! My part to pay $551.00!!!! I was told to go buy Musinex blue box and take it for 10 days. My symptoms are still there! So for all that money and no relief! The office should give a estimate of charges because being seen! I would have never gone if i knew the appointment was gonna be so very expensive! I had skin cancer removed for less that this office visits costs. I would never recommend them!
Prior to my visit I read several of the negaitive reviews and became concerned about my up coming visit. Since it was my first time going there I did not know what to expect. I arrived a little early for my visit to submit my paperwork. The young lady at reception was quite nice to deal with. She collected my typical co pay for a specialist visit, nothing out of the ordinary. Fortunately, I did not wait long, they brought me right back to an exam room. Had Dr. Lisa Waizenegger, who was also very nice. She performed the procedure to remove the blockages that I had. She did not perform any additional unnecessary procedures even tho I asked about them. Afterwards, they did perfom a hearing test which I have been in need of. My wife says I am deaf. Dr. Kelly Bilbruck administered the hearing test, she was great. Funny, polite, & thorough. She made mention of my cologne several times Lol. I got a kick outta her. To my surprise I don't need hearing aids. Not sure what I am gonna tell my wife tho Haha!!! All in all, After visiting this location for the first time. I have to say it was a great first impression. I know you can not please everyone. But I have to give credit where credit is due. Great Job to the team of Orlando ENT. Look forward to seeing you all next time.
EDIT: because of Dr. Waizenegger Blowing me off and me having to come back and see Dr Harrington they are trying to charge me for two nasal exams For a cost of almost $440!!!! They never informed me of any of this before they did it. I have no problem, paying for procedures that are practical, but when It has been four weeks since i saw Dr Waizenegger and I STILL CANNOT HEAR from whatever she did. After I addressed my concerns to the staff, the receptionist got very rude with me, and I could hear her and the other secretaries behind the counter switch to Spanish and start talking about me in Spanish. The staff here are terrible beyond belief. The last thing the receptionist told me is that if I wanted to talk to Dr. Waizenegger Myself she would come out and talk to me… Which she refused to do and just hit in the back It’s a shame that Dr. Harrington has to share practice with an terrible doctor like dr Waizenegger. I will be looking into how to report Dr Waizenegger, because someone like her should not be allowed to practice medicine if she’s going to treat her patience like that. ————- I would rate this place very highly if Dr. Waizenegger was not here. She was probably the worst doctor I’ve ever seen. I’ve had an ongoing sinus infection for over eight weeks and I saw her and she totally blew me off. She even try to do a procedure that wasn’t necessary. Adding to my ear drum when it had nothing to do with a sinus infection. However, thinking that maybe she’s just a bad doctor, I came back and refused to see her again. I then saw Dr. Harrington and he was outstanding. He was a really nice and great guy. If he was the only doctor there, I would get this place five stars because of how bad and incompetent Dr. Waizenegger Is, i cant justify it
