Dr. Broom, his PAs, and staff have taken amazing care of me! Through physical therapy, multiple epidural steroid injections, and ultimately a discectomy operation, I couldn't have been happier with the service I've received. I feel a million times better now post-surgery than I did when I first came to Dr. Broom. Thank you so much!!
Dr. Broom's PAs will see you for less than 3 minutes, does no physical assessment or evaluation at all, and will consider you fine if there is no surgical intervention to do. Although you may still be in pain, instead of referring out to another specialist or trying a non-surgical approach, they rather say nothing is wrong with you and your fine. Was in and out of the office in under 10 minutes, from check in to discharge, as they don't seem to have time for their patient's concerns anyways. Bad medical practice, would not recommend to others.
Don't come or get transferred here for "Wk.man's Comp".. "Dr.Broom & Phys.Asst. Rice" LIE on their reports to Adjusters/Insurance companies, its known thru mediators/med.field, etc. upon doing so.. Pretty much forced to settle to get away from this guy Florida Spine Center to seek proper help on my lower-back as I continue to have daily painful issues that he wouldn't resolve... GIVE-UP THAT OFFICE SPACE TO DOCTORS/PHYSICIANS WHO ACTUALLY WANT TO HELP PEOPLE !!!! Shame On You......
My first appointment with Dr. Broom, I was told I had wear and tear damage to my spine. He gave me a method of pain management and said if that didn't work to come back. So a month later I went back and his P.A. accused me of just looking for pills. He refused to believe me or listen to me. I didn't even get to talk to Dr. Broom. His P.A. just yelled at me and said that they weren't going to even try to help me or give me anything. Suddenly I was fine and my scans came back clear. This practice is awful and now I have to start from scratch because he just ASSUMED I was looking for pills so thanks for wasting my time and money.
Did my fusion in 2000 very good spinal surgeon. Have had a great experience with all interactions throughout the years last check up 2013.
Performed a fusion and two other procedures. Wonderful surgeon. Great staff!
