Management must not care about this location much less FJ/Pilot headquarters’s. This is one of the filthiest and stinkiest fuel stop from outside to the inside of the store. The fuel bays haven’t been pressure washed in some time for the bays are slick from diesel spills just waiting for the next victim to fall and file a major lawsuit and walking up to the store was horrible as you can see from the pics. No greeting from cashiers much less a thank you yet it’s the truckers who pay their salary from the revenue FJ makes off us. This place can do better or change management. This place is horrendous.
The manager here was Marlo or Marla, she was extremely rude to 2 sweet employees. I asked an employee about a cappuccino option, she asked her manager over her radio and the manager came storming out of the back room telling the employee that she can't hear her over the radio, She was so rude about it. I asked her my question and she didn't even make eye contact with me, she dismissed me with a wave of her hand and walked off. I didn't end up buying anything there and I feel so bad about how the manager spoke to the 2 employees trying to help me. I hope this is just an off day for the manager and she doesn't treat all of the employees like this.
This is an awesome place because the people are kind and the food was just delicious. The two women closing took time to care for tired hungry travellers. I appreciate that care and yes those pink earrings were so cute! Thank you ladies.
Awesome employees but no pizza when I arrived:
Showers been out of service for three days. Bathrooms are dirty only one person working at the fuel desk nine or 10 people in line I would avoid this pilot family have gone downhill since Berkshire Hathaway got involved.
Showers were hot. Staff was very rude. Kicked a bunch of truckers out of the lot claiming Osha violation, meanwhile the guy cleaning the showers sprays the floor with some cleaner and uses the wet towel that you use to dry off with to wipe the floor up. Definitely didn't feel as if it catered to the industry and especially felt like it didn't follow the flying j we all know and love. Its got a good diner though.
There are no showers, dirty restrooms, at 1 in the morning they will see if you pay for parking, they wake you up and make you move... one of the worst places for trucks
This place has SERIOUSLY gone down hill. Fountain machine is nasty, employees stuffing their face at the cash register with customers around and approaching counter. No ice tea in store, and rude waitress in HH completely unwilling to make more during regular business hours. PFJ &HH MANAGEMENT DO BETTER PLEASE. Its bad enough trucks have very limited choices, but, at least operate like you give a damn about your PRIMARY revenue..... the trucks and the drivers in them. DO BETTER PLEASE
Stopped in for gas and a bite to eat. Self serve soup was fantastic! Thank you flying J for filling my belly! Ps mixing the soups is the way to go. I mixed minestrone and potato to get potatestrone. Yum!
How long should it take to clean a shower? Not much, if there is somebody doing it....gave 3 stars, but Got to the shower 2, no hooks on the wall...was about to shave there was no cold water in the sink at all, only very hot...changed to 1 star...and it's not about people who work there, it's about managing people making maintenance decisions.
