This location sucks. They are always out of pump paper for receipts, there's always pumps that don't work and you won't know until you get through the payment process, or they are out of gas. I don't know why I stop here thinking it won't happen but every damn time one of the three issues arise. Never again. The employees could care less doesn't help either. Overall, f'this place.
I usually don't stop at truck stops due to horrible customer service past experiences but I had no choice hesitant enough I decided to stop on my drive through Lubbock. I was very impressed, I want to acknowledge the beautiful face I was greeted from the moment I walked in to when I left. Employee her name was Daphne. She carried great small talk & asked for any assistance, although I just needed gas. Decided to walk around see if anything interest me, I was very impressed by the freshness considering it is a truck stop. Paid my gas and go about my business. Thank you for great service Daphne and Flying J, Lubbock TX!

Flying Js is probably the cleanest, friendliest store in the 806. Their staff is so helpful and always have a CD good attitude. Everyone smiles at you as you walk in. Definitely feels welcoming
Never again will I use this pilot again. Diesel side is always dirty. Store in general is dirty. Looks like it is never cleaned. Never had breakfast in the morning. Soda fountains also never have product or out of order. Employees are nasty. They put gloves on but then touch their face and nose. Then proceed to touch food. I will take my business else where.
This use to be a great convenience. Always had a full hot case, hot dogs on the grill, a nice wet bar. I quit going a month ago, but stopped in today to find why I stopped going. Food case almost empty, but what they do have is old and no longer resembles food. They did get rid of their hot dog roller grill. The nacho station is always out if chili and the cheese is questionable at best. I didn't look at their wet bar because if they don't care enough to have some kind of food besides candy. There were four uniformed people behind the counter, and still have long lines. This place is very mismanaged. Avoid this place unless you're just getting gas. And avoid Loves further down the road, because this pilot is has more than they do.
The service was great. The staff was very helpful and helping me find what I needed and they're good at making sure there is always fresh coffee. If not, they'll make it.
I love going to this store, Daphne was so helpful and had outstanding customer service skills! She helped me find exactly what I needed! I will definitely return to this store every chance I get!
This company should teach their reps customer service. I visited this location to pickup a quick item, the line was long and the alternate register was in process of checking out someone else. The manager on shift Daphine became aggressive after I told her for the second time that an item was not mine. Instead of just saying, I apologize and let me remove that, you sarcastically says " gesh, it can be removed." I expressed to her that the attitude is not required and then she says you don't have to be aggressive. I advised her that my tone nor concern was aggressive but I can stated to you an item is not mine a refuse to buy it. Her rebuttal was, "well I can refuse service! So do you want the item or what?!" I was very perplexed at why my service would be refused when I simply stated that an item isn't mine and didn't wish to purchase it. As a result of her poor service, I asked for a supervisor and she answered that she is the supervisor, then I asked for the corporate number to report the incident but was told "look it up!" Then Valerie came to assist and as Valerie is interacting with me, Daphine continues to interject with more aggression while leaving her customers unattended. I asked Valerie for the corporate number and was given a help desk number that has nothing filing a complaint about the poor service but while I'm asking another rep, the manager Daphine continues to be combative and starts over talking while elevating her voice. Before this point, I was no longer talking to her but she felt that I needed to be corrected. I told her that its unfair for a person to work for a company, be aggressive with there customers and once the customer is aggregated with them; then refuse them service or threaten to call the police because they as the employee tries to rebuttal a customer and say things to incite the customer. As i was leaving after paying, Daphine tells me "see you're leaving" as if to say she "made me leave the store." I replied " yes, because I bought what I needed." Then to say " don't come back?" Why? When i did not create the issue, her poor customer service and then to say "we'll call the cops" and follows me out of the store was unnecessary. As I explained to this woman if I want to return than i can but please note if this rep calls the cops not only will this lead to a boycott, it will end in a lawsuit. Please teach your reps customer service and explain to them that the customer as the right to tell them dont ring me up for somethings that they don't want and the rep should not create an issue for shoppers because they lack self control.
