Old, dirty, cramped store. Food looks old. Bathrooms are disgusting! Parking lot is small and full of holes and ruts. There's usually one diesel pump down at all times! Staff look miserable! The GM looks like a drunkard. And she doesn't assist the guests. Go literally anywhere else!
Glad I didn’t fill up here, lost a shower credit but I’ll tough it out . Employee standing in front of the door blowing cigarette smoke right into the customer. Just after 1 am , not a soul in the store but over 30 minutes waiting with one other guest for our shower , God knows how long the other person was waiting , most likely fell asleep in line. Shady transient looking people probably from the bus line sitting in the alley on the way in to the store smoking weed. DONT lose your way out here ,ladies be careful. Not a good look at all for Boise City , or for Flying J at all, just a sad location. Wont be getting my business now or never .
Go to the TA down the road. We reservered a shower at 7:30p. Since it wasn't progressing, we talked to GM. He said they were down for maintenance, on a Sunday evening, after they worked all afternoon. Sounds like they didn't want to pay someone to clean 4 showers. Only one washer and two dryers on the second floor. The stairs boards are wood and move. No elevator. The 2 bathrooms on the main floor are gender neutral which is just gross. There is only 1 mens room and 1 womens room upstairs. This place is antiquated and needs a complete re-do. Tear it down, pave the parking lot and bring this truck stop into the 21st century. The GM did remain professional but the only solution he had was calling us later tonight if these "showers under maintenance " became available. Now wouldn't that just be a miracle after you performed "maintenance "? Most plumbing must sit and dry after maintenance. Call customer service to get your credit back. Funny considering they are closed on Sundays.
The truck stop itself is fairly dumpy, but I still stop here anyways because right across the street is a shopping center with a ton of great food options and a Fred Meyer that makes up for it. Not too many truck stops have a sushi restaurant across the street!
Need some updating to do but it still work, some shower have no toilet they got a greyhound station inside, not that much parking but they don’t trip if you don’t have a parking spot so they get 5 star that’s what a truck need parking after a long day, plus they got wit in walking a Walgreens and kfc and nasty Arby’s
Get ready a shower without a toilet. There are few free spaces even during the day. Repair out of service on weekends.
Out of the thousands of truckstops I've been to, this one consistently ranks as the one of the crummiest. People are as nice as could be, and they do their best to clean this dump. However, the whole facility is in desperate need of renovations. If you're in the right shower #, you can open up the doors under the sink and pee onto the coffee machine on the floor below. Watch out for the ratchet Greyhound folks on the East side of the building. They're probably harmless, but I wouldn't leave my bags unattended.
I think the "Lot Lizards" that prowl the back lot have more class than the two customer service reps/maintenance women we encountered this morning have. My GF and I bought a shower this morning $17, the most expensive and run down of the three travel centers in the area and we were rudely interrupted by two of the worst CSR's I've EVER had the displeasure of interacting with. Our door was repeatedly pounded on, we were accused of being in the shower room for over 5 hours and stealing a shower, yelled at, threatened to have the police called about us and locked in the shower room. We will choose to shower at Mr. Gas $10, brand new facility or The T/A $16, but clean shower rooms. We will NEVER step foot on another Pilot Flying J Travel Center again!
No clean tualet veri bed costumer service no good 2 hours hold no shower bed service
I’m so grateful they allow showers to people other than truckers. Be quick and respectful though and they will treat you the same way. I was living in my car in Boise for awhile and filling my truck up at maverick so I wasn’t sure I could shower there. They where very friendly and explained to me how the process works. The pizza is always great and I’m pretty sure I got a free coffee with the purchase of a shower which was awesome. Thank you
