The founder Margaret DaCosta Dallas with her almost two decade experience in the healthcare profession saw the need for more healthcare training facilities. Hence FAITH MEDICAL INSTITUTE was established in the summer of 2007 by team of healthcare and business professionals to fulfill the need for disciplined healthcare practitioners. The institution's goal is to excite a passion for service within students who desire a career in the medical and healthcare arena.
FAITH MEDICAL INSTITUTE is primarily a teaching institution. Our principal concern is with teaching and engaging with students in and outside of the classroom in order to create the best possible learning environment. The Faculty engages in research and disseminating tutorial information in order to enhance student learning. Classes are taught by full-time and part-time faculty members as well as adjunct faculty who combine academic credentials with professional experience, this combination that supports FAITH MEDICAL INSTITUTE’S philosophy of blending scholastic excellence with career preparation.
Our programs are advocated to anyone with or without high-school diploma or its equivalent. Students are taught the technical skills required to deliver quality professional care necessary to gain employment in the healthcare arena. Classes are taught on site with externship been taught at an earmarked facilities, graduates can obtain certification or licenses in their course of study.
The mission of Faith Medical Institute/FMI Career School is to provide accoplished training, knowledge and passionate skills needed to succeed in careeres that are in demand.

Externship
Externships are offered as part of most programs. Externships provide hands-on experience and opportunities, which may lead to employment after graduation.
Placement services
Prospects for employment are excellent. Although FMI does not guarantee the placement of graduates, FMI’s Placement department will assist students every step of the way in the attempt to identify and secure an appropriate position. This is a great place to begin forming your network of contacts, which will become invaluable to you as you continue to progress in your field. This interaction can be a great resource for years and years to come.
These services include assistance in writing resumes, advice concerning interviewing techniques, referrals to employers, and help with setting up appointments. The Placement Director counsels and advises the students throughout the placement process, records all job leads, develops new employment opportunities, surveys graduates and employers and keeps placement records.
