The Folklore and Urban Legends Club was created to spark an interest in just that, folklore and urban legends. We strive to open minds and show people that there is more than just what you see.
We as a group try to do many things. #1, we explore the paranormal. Not for fun of course, even though that is part of it, but for the knowledge and scientific study. We are trying to show students that there is more than just what we see. #2, we are open to trying food. Food is a part of folklore. Trying food opens minds and taste buds, especially odd ones. Not only do we have student members, but we also allow non student (or public) persons to join us as well.
This organization will facilitate students' understanding of folklore and urban legends by encouraging an appreciation of various cultures. It will provide students with the opportunity to explore different aspects of traditions and customs.
