The Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina provides more than 1 million pounds per week of food and nonfood essentials to low-income clients through partner agencies such as food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, after-school programs and senior centers. The Food Bank has six warehouses across our 34-county service area in Raleigh, Durham, Greenville, New Bern, Southern Pines, and Wilmington. The Food Bank also works on the root causes of hunger.

- negatively commenting or personal attacks on the people we serve, employees of our food banks and agencies, and volunteers
- content that may be reasonably considered offensive, disruptive, defamatory, or derogatory including ,but not limited to, sexual comments or images, racial slurs, or other comments or images that would offend someone on the basis of his or her race, color, sex, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, age, disability or any other basis prohibited by applicable law
- not about hunger, its intersectionality, and food-related issues

In addition to distributing food to those in need, the Food Bank also works on the root causes of hunger, sponsoring programs that educate children and adults on how to find the food they need to become self-sufficient.
