We are an emergency food pantry that provides emergency food packages to qualifying individuals and families residing in Greenwood County.
An organization addressing food insecurity in Greenwood County. We have 3 food programs to address food insecurity:
Pictures ID is required for each program EVERY visit.
1) The Emergency Food Assistance Program - Operational every Tuesday and Wednesday (excluding major holidays) 10:00 am - 1:00 pm.
2) Sowing Seeds Program - Operational every Thursday and Friday (excluding major holidays) 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. Clients must provide proof of household income, household size, and residency. Participants make a small investment toward their food security.
3) Commodity Supplemental Food Program (Senior Box Program)- Operational the 3rd Thursday of each month (excluding major holidays) 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm. Participants must meet age, residency, and income guidelines.
The Food Bank of Greenwood County welcomes non-perishable food donations and monetary donations are welcomed.
