Join the 'IM perfectionists' ! Transforming Relationships to Self, Food and Body through an Eating Psychology, Mind Body Nutrition, and Emotional Intelligence Approach. Letting go of 'imperfection' and holding on to "I AM PERFECTION"
Do you ever feel like you are constantly searching for a state of "Perfection?" With your body, finances, life balance, relationships, etc?
Well, you've come to the right place to sort that out!
Meet Tessie Tracy - Certified Eating Psychology & Mind Body Nutrition Coach, Level 2 CrossFit Instructor, CPT, Global Ambassador for the Body Image Movement, and Emotional Intelligence Trainer...
I'm Perfection Coaching has a few meanings.
#1 - It's a play on the word 'imperfection', duh, because we all tend to have some insecurity or self-worth issue around our 'shortcomings'.
#2 - Likely these negative and limiting beliefs come from the falsehood of our ego, pressure of media and society, traumatic events (stay tuned for mine) or the environment (culture, family, peers) in which we have been brought up. So, because we do things differently here, we shift the paradigm and conversation to the positive "I'm Perfection".
#3 I'm Perfection, of course is short for I AM PERFECTION, Meaning at any given point, at our lowest low, and our highest high... we are perfect. The situation is perfect. The result will be perfect. And by perfect, I don't mean it all happens how we want or expect or even plan for.
I mean everything happens exactly as it is supposed to so that we can grow into the best human being we can be on this Earth.
"I AM" is one of the most powerful ways we can begin a statement, so why not make it positive?... especially in those moments when it feels so far away from perfect we lose sight of our purpose, happiness, and gratitude.
I'mPerfection is a community of "IMperfectionists". We are here to express what we are going through in a safe space, support one another with openness and positivity, and band together in a virtual hug to continue working through our challenges to see them as perfect gifts, so that we truly can live our highest purpose to serve others in this World.
A little more about Tessie:
Hi everyone, thank you for being here. I am so honored to have you here, and be able to support you from breakdown to breakthrough when it comes to your health, happiness, relationships, body image, and fulfillment.
I grew up in Colorado, and was an athlete my whole life, starting gymnastics at the age of 3 and a half. I was always, and still am, some interesting combination of performer/introvert/scholastic nerd/emotional being/person who felt like I was an odd ball with others.
For starters, I was born with a congenital heart defect (that I couldn't tell anyone about in school so that I could still participate in sports). On the outside, I looked like I could be one of the best athletes in the school. On the inside, it felt like concrete was running through my veins the moment I ran longer than one minute.
After 3 cardiac ablation procedures (burning extra electrical pathways in my heart), being on beta blockers while trying to do back flips as a cheerleader in college (they keep your heart rate from spiking... oh, and they also prevent your adrenaline so it is really hard to get the energy you need for high intensity sport), and having an episode where paramedics actually had to flat-line my heart and restart it... I have had a number of 'I wish I didn't have this' and 'People don't understand how hard this is' moments...
And you know what the bigger belief is? GRATITUDE! I can do more physically than 99% of people with my condition. I was a competitive college athlete and a crossfit games regionals competitor. I have a biological reminder to stay in good cardiovascular shape (for me that means running like a 13min mile lol) because it is the best thing to do for my heart.
Another 'pain to purpose' challenge in my life was when my best friend and boyfriend Cody died. He was the first person to have that awkward, insecure, shameful, fingernail-biting girl feeling beautiful, loved, and absolutely perfect... just the way she was, 13min mile and all. And then, after we danced to Mrs. Steven Rudy at a summer concert, when I was 17, Cody had a moment of giving in to his invincible teenage-boy self, went to fast down the mountain road... and... all I remember is stopping in the car behind him, getting out, and staring over the cliff at flames.
I know for a fact if these things had not been in my life... these things that no one would wish upon anyone... but if they weren't there, I wouldn't be the person I am now, I wouldn't have near the amount of strength and appreciation for all of life if it weren't for these moments of being faced with... the unknown/death/non-life/etc.
And the beautiful part about it is, we all have a fire for life. It doesn't matter if your struggles have been the most wild disastrous unimaginable traumas, or if you have, well, had things go relatively smoothly lol... either way, we are all here to continuously become the next best version of ourselves!
My mission is to support people with negative self-image to finally own all of themselves in order to let their gifts shine for the World.
