Great store for any Asian ingredient. Tough to navigate for someone newer to Asian cooking. But, eventually found everything I needed. BIG bonus. The food court is amazing. I didn't eat there, but everything on everyone's tables looked fantastic. I will be going there for lunch a few times a week.
First time here with my bestie. I decided to get some korean beauty skincare since I misplaced mine. I also grabbed some boba and some korean fried chicken since I've been missing korea lately. Friendly atmosphere, great food. 10/10 recommend
Not reviewing HMart but Red Wok in food court. Pictures are incredibly deceiving compared to what you get for your order. If I knew that I was getting what are actually pork nuggets I would have never bothered with this place. The food wasn’t bad but it was not what I ordered. I’m wondering what the other food items in pictures end up actually being!? At $12.99 not worth bothering with. Dissatisfied and disappointed.
This place helped me cross off my bucket list item of trying Takoyaki! It's also where I go to get sweet buns when I get a crave. Absolutely delightful!
I love this store. They have a huge collection of Asian fruits, veggies, different types of fish etc. This fresh “Rabutan” bag was only around $7-$8. Update: I’m changing my review score from 5 to 2 just because of the cashier, Ana marin. I felt she was very rude to the customers. I’m a regular customer of H mart Naperville and all other cashiers I had before were very helpful and friendly.
This is the best h Mart I've been to yet. It doesn't seem much since I've only been to two in my life. The food court was average period the owners of the restaurants in the food court were all super nice. Much different vibe than the h Mart in the city. Seems like the owners here care about their restaurants a little bit more. The selection of mushrooms, bananas, prepared foods, and sushi were all enormous! So much more space here then the h Mart in the city. We are big mochi fans, and they had a huge assortment of that. We also went to eat and the food court at the Korean gourmet place. The owner was very very kind cute and warm to us!
I was able to find both Mio Sparkling Sake and Pocari Sweat here, both of which I was very much missing from Japan. Very happy with this H Mart :
Big store with lots to offer. Everything is laid out well and clearly labeled. Love the baked Korean sweet potato bags. Such a great treat!
This is the largest h market i have been too. Such a great collection of snacks and produce. Don't forget to stop in the sauce aisles there are more brands of oils and kikomon they you could imagine. One of our favorite quick dishes is baby bachoy with pork belly chives and rice cakes stir-fried in spicy crispy oil. Definitely check out the drink section and dive into the quality of the imported sodas they are worth the price. Definitely grab some tapioca pearls and a litter of milk tea to make buble tea at home! If your in the area stop in and grab a sushi or nori platter for a fun date night: dyi sushi rolling. Precious Asian food. Wagyu beef and pork without salt. Excellent fresh fish.
