It's not Food Giant anymore, it's called Fresh Value now. If you're familiar with 4th Ave Supermarket Frank's then you'll like FV, it's owned by the same family. It's covenant and the prices are more than reasonable if you're trying to buy pantry supplies or if you're in the mood for a good soul food dinner. It's clean and the workers are polite and helpful, plus it has a great meat market. My only knocks on it are if you're looking for specialty foods you need to look somewhere else, and the prices are great but there an extra 10% added to the tax,I don't like that. All and all it's a great store to shop in and like I stayed before it's very convenient.
The people that work there are polite ecxept for the old man on the express isle avoid him if possible. I haven't really liked shopping ther in the past because things are scattered out but another grocery store owner just bought it and they own my favorite grocery store so I'm looking forward too see how they make this place better. All in all its a ok store
Not what it used to be. Cash Windows are Always nice,speedy. Hot/cold prepared food. Bakery-ish. Good meats. Great beer selection.
It's a little nicer inside now....loving the floors. good prices on the things I needed. Didn't have time to actually look around and check everything out... maybe next time... so 4Starz is what I'm giving...
The new owners have totally destroyed a very good market. Less meat selection less products no coke products and the biggest rip off cost + 10.
NEED IMPROVEMENTS ALL OVER THE DELI IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST IN THE WORLD I NEVER SEEN A DELI THAT SERVE THE SAME VEGETABLES EVERY DAY AND THEY HAVE NO TASTE TO THEM AT ALL. THE MACARONI THAT THEY SERVE EVERYDAY IS HORRIBLE, WHO IN THE SOUTH CAN NOT MAKE MACARONI & CHEESE. THEY WOULD DO BETTER STARTING OVER WITH A WHOLE NEW CREW OF COOKS AND MENU

The meat is fresh and pretty and the prices are reasonable and cheap. The employees are very helpful and acknowledge you are present with a good morning.
4th Avenue Supermarket purchased Food Giant, now they have changed the name and suppose to be a wholesale store plus 10%, too expensive. Piggly Wiggly is cheaper.
