Small store but good selection for the size. Decent choices for basic items, no specilty items. Staff is always exceptionally friendly and helpful.

No Good Deed, Goes Unnoticed I love my neighborhood Food Lion. On my way to drop off food for a children’s church picnic, I received a call to pick up 4 large bags of ice. I decided to stop at my favorite Food Lion. I’m so glad I did. I was assisted by Biconna I hope I spelled her name correctly. After paying for the ice and not knowing how I was going to load them in the cart, without my asking, she immediately offered to help after noticing I was alone. Thanks, Biconna, for going above and beyond. This act of kindness will never be forgotten. You are a true example of what providing customers with excellent customer service should be like. Keep up the good work.

The main reasons that I shop at Food Lion are the prices and the proximity to where I live. I can find much better produce at other grocery stores in the area. They routinely run out of frozen items. The staff is very nice and the store is never crowded.

Unbelievable stench of fish greets every customer with each visit. I don’t understand why the store doesn’t do something about this. How do the workers stand it? My advice would be for them to just give up on selling fresh seafood until they get a handle on this persistent problem. Seriously if I walked into that store with the intention of buying fish I would go elsewhere.

Popular store. Friendly staff good produce

The store itself is always clean and usually well stocked. Customer service manager has a very lackluster customer service attitude. Always seams to be in the “I just work here” mindset. Overall, good store with decent prices. I’ll continue to drive past a few other grocery stores to shop there.
