Food Lion

I placed a Food Lion to go order online, got to the store and text that I was in the pick up spot, received a message that someone would be out with my order in about 5 minutes. About 10-15 minutes passed then I received a text stating no associate available to bring order out and to come in the store to pick up my order. Needless to say I was extremely irritated on top of being tired. Went in the store, had to wait at heat another 15 minutes to get assistance from customer service after which a nice young gentleman came up, grabbed my order and took it out to my car. He did apologize for the inconvenience which is the reason for the two stars.

Friendly and helpful staff, reasonable prices, usually well stocked. Only had to wait in a long line once, and it was after work/rush hour, so understandable. Eventually, they opened another line, so no big smoke.

I do like the prices, the people and the general shopping experience Used to shop Acme but not now, except for occasional things

I continuously have bad experiences here, but due to a situation in my life this is the closest grocery store that I have to go to I don't have access to another one. I was checking out and the cashier who's name is Ronda gave me complete attitude when I had to return four items because I didn't have enough money, time is a tough and I really struggle with depression, and I really don't have anyone, but for her to say Jesus Christ and then to laugh in my face was horrible customer service, and I already have social anxiety to where I feel scared to go to places but now I feel double scared to go to this food lion. Ronda needs to be fired and every cashier at this place needs to be trained on customer service and to not bully their customers

It’s ok I prefer bigger supermarkets because food lion don’t have varieties of specific items. I would go to Giant or Acme, whole food. They don’t have enough cashiers and that can be time consuming. Not a fan of fresh meats only chicken, unfortunately my Bob Evans sausage was frozen. I’m not sure how I feel about fresh meats being frozen but it tasted ok.

Not sure why only 2 cashier lines open and they went toward the back of the store. This is nothing new for this store. I'm here only for a few items and its 5 minutes from home. My choice is always Acme.

Good prices for most things, but checkout tends to be slow, particularly on weekends or directly after work.

Oh I went there! Three times in 5 days! The staff - friendly The cleanliness - yup, they had that The prices - normal a few sale items made it into my cart too! I would/will go back, and not just because it's the closest grocery store to my home. Well, that is a huge part of it actually... proximity. I'll tell you what though I actually had nothing left to say. love Love LOVE Food Tiger. Sept 2022 UPDATE! - It's still there. So 2 days ago I waited in line for 20+ minutes! I'm not one of those people who just writes reviews to complain though because that's super lame. That's not my typical experience there so you know what? 5 star rating still applies. Trousers. Feb 2023 update - Rolled up for some protein powder and Greek yogurt. They didn't have my usual brand of protein protein! So i got the store brand stuff. Not bad at all! In fact, it's good! 20% less expensive and it has creatine to help me get straight jacked. The lady at the checkout - super friendly/pleasant/helpful. I'll be back soon.
