No real meat cutters and management has nothing but excuses for why they can’t supply the sale items they have listed in there weekly ad and no one to give me a custom cut NY strip that were also in the ad at 7.99lb on sale.
Clean and a nice variety of produce and every day products. Friendly staff.
Always well stocked and decent prices. Produce selection isn't as big as Acme but it is nowhere near as expensive as Acme is either.
Everyone there is always very helpful and nice and the prices are always reasonable
Overall the shopping experience was great but one cashier ruined that with the extremely negative attitude she had given us. Never said hi and when asked a question it was responded with a very negative tone. Hope to see a change with this. Everything else was wonderful. Too bad one cashier had to ruin that.
I will never step foot in there again they are always out of stock the Cashiers are the only thing nice in there the Manager for lack of a better word is a d-bag i asked him a question and got a look from him like i was insulting him asking that question walks away saying we dont carry that here and your left regretting asking him anything not professional at all. never again Forever Acme shopper
The store itself is clean and organized with a delicious bakery and a fresh deli. The employees are nice, friendly, and polite. Food quality is high and has a wide variety of brands and options for just one item. Prices are low like they're always saying and advertise very clearly and well. This grocery store is the only one I go shopping for groceries at.
good selection of groceries and seems to have the best prices in Centreville. They are currently renovating the interior of the store and it's looking very nice. Overall, a good stop for all the usual grocery needs!
This Food Lion was the first I've ever tried. I'm very careful about where I buy my groceries because I don't want to have to shop around. I want to buy all items from one place and feel good about the quality of everything in my cart. I have been happy with literally all of the items I've purchased. Special kudos to the bakery department. I love the apple turnovers, chocolate brownies and birthday cakes!!! Yum! I used to shop at Whole Foods but I was quickly dealing with too many receipts that exceeded $250 each visit. My husband always bragged about how he had found excellent meat, cheeses and fresh fruit at Food Lion so one day I gave it a try. Now I can use the money I saved from not going to my old store to explore all the individually owned little stores in the neighborhood. My husband and I now agree on where to buy groceries. We agree! I'm in New territory now! What's next? Today and on we have Food Lion in common. Tomorrow? Who knows?
Acme has more selection but Food Lion has better location and prices. A year into Covid though and this place still has several empty aisles. Yesterday they were out of bread. Yes, bread.
