Food Lion

First of all I love the sales in this store I shop online on Instacart too But I went to the store to shop in middle river location. I had the best cashier her name is Tammy. She was so friendly and perfect customer service. Tammy can teach others how to give great customer service. Thank u Tammy for for being so kind. I'll definitely will be back

Everytime I go there they never have the sale items but have plenty of the way higher price things. Everytime I buy sodas I get them home and always 1or more is opened and leaking, that's a waste of my money things are expensive and always damaged at Food Lion Middle River. Things have really changed for the worse here in the last 3or or so years. I think the management should get it together. I will be going to Essex from now on. It's worth the further drive

I Wish they would have better fruits and veggies but everything else is good.. The staff are great... And, it's a great place overall..

Third time I’ve been here and had to explain to bag raw meat separately. The person bagging my groceries was more interested in continuing his conversation with the cashier than watching what he was doing. He crammed so much stuff into the bags the handles started breaking as I was putting them into my car, even double bagged!

Friendly customer service.. Parking lot needs to be kept up on a little better. Plenty of parking.. best deals on frozen food.. Milk is a little high.. Great produce!

I order for home delivery often from food lion till recently. I have gotten fruits and bread, but the next day, the fruit has mold on them especially the strawberries. The bread is usually moldy within a few days. They have been out of stock on a lot of items that are up on their web page or on instacart. I have gone to food lion for a long time but recently I just keep getting disappointed and wasting money on fruits. One big thing that bothers me when you order online things that are BOGO you never get that free item. Always look at the circular before ordering, if not, you are probably not getting those sale items.

They had everything I was looking for aside from one flavor of soda, but considering that brand was on a bogo sale and it's a holiday, they were really well stocked to only be out of only the one flavor and they had a good supply of all the other items we were looking for. The store was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Clean easy to find products. Checking out is not good with only 1 line open usually forcing you to use self check out.

I use Instacart to order my food and I pick it up. The employees are pleasant and my food is always ready when I arrive!

I always have a good experience other than at the deli. The one lady yells to take the next person's order as she is still cutting another customers meat. That isn't good customer service. She also gives half a pound more than you ask for. She does it to me quite often. What I ask for is what I should receive. I understand going over, but it's like she doesn't care what the customer asks for.
