Ordered a few times so far! I love food jets. My food arrives on time, hot and fresh. I always receive great customer services and promo codes. So happy i found a great delivery company! Definitely will recommend this delivery company. So much better than the way I was treated at grub hub.
My family and I ordered a family meal from a local resteraunt. The order took over 2 hours to get to our house. The food was cold and disheveled like the driver tossed it around their car. We ordered from Grub hub and they delivered in 15 minutes and were very professional. My advice, if your going to order delivery use anyone else. I suggest Grubhub. I'll never use FoodJets again. This comes from a Vet. Hoorah.
I have ordered from them twice. Both times they were several hours late. Today I had a 1-2pm window. It's 6pm, and all I have gotten from them is a text 4 hours ago telling me they are running late. I called at 3pm, 5pm, and 6pm. Every time they told me my order is on the way, and will arrive in 15 mins. This service is really bad, and it's the most expensive grocery delivery service I've tried. Just the delivery charge was about $8. Instacart and Prime Now worlds better.
I’ve used FoodJets several times for groceries, I just don’t seem to learn my lesson. There has never ever been an on time delivery, in fact each time it’s over an hour late. But today my order is two hours late so far. I am tracking the driver and he is driving all over the place, but nowhere near me, so probably will be quite some time before I get my order. I just don’t understand how a company like this can stay in business, and I can’t believe I ordered again from FoodJets........I’m such an idiot
I order food often from the various food delivery services. At first, I liked FoodJets, but the last 4 times I ordered from them, the food comes really late ready at the restaurant, but no driver to pick it up. This ends up with cold food. Plus, they usually forget 1 of the order just ordering 2 things - one thing for me, one for my wife. And it always seems like it is my wife's meal that is missing. We could have it re-ordered, but we don't want to wait another 90 minutes for dinner. They did give me a refund for the missed meal. I am done with FoodJets. Removing there app from my phone.
Unbelievable! I placed an order and had to use them as grub hub didn't offer until the following day..not only do they charge a $5.99 delivery fee in addition they also charge another $5.00 service fee to offset their cost...on top of that they make it mandatory to leave at a minimum a 10% tip.. my order was like $70 because I was ordering from BJ's and I couldn't proceed without leaving at a minimum $6.17 tip for the driver..mind you I live like 5 minutes away...if my son wasn't asleep I would go myself..I'm all for tipping and tip well..but it should not be mandatory and before a service is done .what if the driver is late or is a jerk..I already had to pay the tip so no incentive to do a good job. Never using them again .here is a tip, get rid of the service charge on top of the delivery fee and maybe people would be more inclined to tip
This service is no longer as described below. They decided to go the route of GrubHub / Eat24 where you wait the prep and delivery time. Not worth it now. They had an original format with quick delivery times before. Old review 5 stars below. Meals are from local restaurants made and packaged exclusively for this service; Meals are still warm when they arrive. Not only is there a convenience factor, but you may find a new restaurant to try after trying out their food through this service. The dinner menu seems to have a better selection if you're not a vegetable lover, but there are still great choices some days on the lunch menu. Though the portions of food vary depending on the dish and preparing restaurant, the prices seem well aligned with each menu item. Delivery times are great - there's usually a driver close by. Times I've seen for my 3 orders to date have been between 2 minutes and 9 minutes. Delivery from most places that offer it can be from 30 minutes to 2+ hours. You also receive an automated call / text when the delivery is 1-2 minutes away so you can meet the driver. The call / text is airplane themed to go along with the theme everything else related to the service does. The vehicles are easily identified with white / blue / orange paint and accessories.
DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! I have used this service several times in the past few months, and something has gone wrong almost ever time--for example food was late, or food was cold. Those are minor and I can overlook that, but the last 2 times I've ordered have been the worst. One of the times, FoodJets forgot half the order and they promised to refund the food that I didn't get. I spoke to both the driver that night, and a customer service representative who assured me the cost would be refunded. When I didn't see it by mid the next week, I called back and I was told they were working on it. I never saw the refund. This latest order, I ordered my food tonight at 5pm. I was informed that it would arrive between 6:48 and 7:03. Then I was told was delayed to between 7:03 and 7:18. At that point FoodJets called me to tell me that the restaurant was out of something I ordered because they had taken so long to put the order in. After that call, it was further delayed to between 7:33 and 7:48. My latest email now says between 8:51 and 9:05. REALLY, for food ordered at 5pm?!!!! When I spoke to customer service, they said they didn't know why it was taking so long, but they couldn't do anything about it. He offered to cancel and refund the order, or give me a credit to my account which doesn't matter if I don't use them again. When I mentioned that I never was refunded for the previous order I didn't receive, he informed me he couldn't do anything for that one because it was over two weeks since the order even though I had spoken twice to customer service within the 2 weeks. He also told me that he can't refund my order because he is afraid that I am trying to "cheat the system" by making such a claim. Needless to say, it is 8:40pm and I still don't have the food that was ordered at 5pm, and this company does not honor refunds even when they don't deliver the food. Maybe there should be a pay upon receipt option. I will not use them again, and I strongly do not recommend them.
Zero stars. Ordered from a local grocery store. Foodjets was suppose to deliver between 4:30-5:30pm. No notification that they were going to be late. Over an hour late! Tracking my delivery they drove around over 30 miles with my food before delivering to me
I'm so excited about this new service in downtown Sacramento! I have ordered several items, and each time I've ordered, my pilot arrived in less than ten minutes. Super fast and free delivery is def a plus. My favorite meal I've had so far has been the Chicken Pad Thai. I just love supporting new, local businesses. Keep it up, Foodjets!
