Prices are good, lines are long. There was only one checkout person. Self checkout only had one open spot and I had to get help from an off duty employee. Management needs to be better are sufficiently staffing their stores.

Staff is nice, store is clean, prices are good. BUT they sell rotten vegetables so take extra care bying them here

Really crowded place angry people driving around, have to beware in parking lot. Beware with this truck that hates trucker or something. Mexican in Chevy truck thinks he tough flashing his gun at truck driver whether is trying to rob and scare them.

Shopping at foodmax today was just delightful. They had many holiday things to choose from that I found just great. And their prices are always great. And they're the only store that I can find near me that carries the Popsicles that I love! They also carry a wide variety of ceramic pots in various sizes, that are just gorgeous, located outside the front of the store.

They are a wonderful place to shop and wonderful workers. I have been coming for at least 20 years.

I bought chicken wings cost 17$ when I opened the bag at home, I found pieces of bones, crushed wings, frozen bloody meat. The smell was terrible. I can not say it's wings at all. I can't even feed my dog with that.

It was great! It wasn't crowded, they had Almost everything I needed. Staff was ok. Not really friendly, but ok. There's some items they don't carry. However, Not bad prices. And Yes! It's changed since my last visit there. It's been a few years. I don't go there very often. Nice store though.

My wife and I have been coming here for a few years now and we like it better than the other grocery stores food maxx has the same products but at a much better price! We love the $25 meat box that lasts us a long time and the price is right. They could use more cashier but that is a problem in a lot of stores.

I recently moved to Hayward about 10 mins away from this FoodMaxx and I can honestly say I do not recommend this store. The quality of the produce fresh fruits, veggies is low. I would recommend Safeway near by for better quality. Overall, the products may be consider cheap but the quality is not there; chicken, fruits, etc real food. The staff does what they can but the lines are usually super long. I always get a laugh at the self check out person just standing or sitting there on their phone while people wait instead of helping get people out the door. The outside of the store parking, etc is extremely dirty, and very dark at night. I’ve seen people there taking a dump or exposing themselves. Lots of people suffering from addiction or some sort of mental crisis. Overall, I don’t recommend. FoodMaxx needs to work on providing better quality fresh foods, and customer service to the community. They know they can get away with just the minimum.
