FoodNet Ontario is a province-wide network of organizations and individuals working together to create sustainable local food systems and achieve community food security in communities across Ontario.
FoodNet Ontario has over 450 members across Ontario and beyond, who are actively working to achieve community food security and sustainable local food systems. FoodNet Ontario members share information, events and resources to support their common goals and to educate the general public. The FoodNet Ontario webiste (www.FoodNetOntario.ca) provides a wide range of resources on topics of interest to members. members are able to post upcoming events, join or create discussion groups, and provide information about their programs. Over 150 community food programs are currently listed in the searchable programs database on the FNO website. FNO members may also subscribe to a listserv where they can share information on a timely basis, and an eBulletin to keep up to date on new developments in the field.
