The women’s section is small but Kevin made sure I left out feeling happy with a pair of shoes I loved! I wasn’t looking forward to shopping but he said he wanted to prove me wrong. And he did! Thanks Kevin!
The experience at foot locker was one to write for corporate and maybe a lesson in customer service could be instructed. My mom brought a pair of shoes for my daughter in which she did not like them, however she had disposed of the shoe box. Upon entering the store the young attended greeted me nicely. However once we came to the cash register another worker had a very disdain look when she could see that I didn't have the shoe box. The guy insisted that they could not refund or exchange the shoe secondary to not having the box. I explained what the receipt states and it did not mention a box and he he implied you must have the box.The female attendant stated it was common sense tonhave the box in order to return. I replied again that the receipt does not state that and would like to speak to the manager . The assistant manager even suggested I try to resell the shoes online. I thanked him and again asked for the manager. Upon the manager coming over and already being briefed of the situation he greeted me with huffs and muffs from his mouth and proceeded to pick up the shoes and slam them on the counter angrily stating he will have to zero these shoes out and he could not sell them without a box. I stood their and listened to him grumble as I just wanted my return. He proceeded with the return provided me with my money and tossed the shoes on the back counter. This experience was horrible and unfortunate when consumers spend money and are treated unkindly. I will never return to this store or another foot locker. Some of the staff acted like the shoe return was going to cause them to lose their jobs, Which I pray it didn't. Zero stars I do not recommend.
I gave this store 2 stars mostly for confusion. I purchased a pair of white af1 for my daughter at kids footlocker the day before Valentine’s Day. On Valentine’s Day, she tried them on, but couldn’t fit them. I went to exchange at kids footlocker, but they didn’t have her size, they suggested I go up the hall, to this store for an exchange. When I went in the store I told the manager Mike what happened and that I needed to get my daughter foot sized and that I wanted to exchange the shoes for her correct size. She tried on two different sizes before we agreed on a size. True enough, I didn’t have my receipt and apparently I didn’t verify my account with the sales associate at kids footlocker during my initial purchase 3 days earlier, but I showed him the purchase on my card statement. The entire conversation I tell him that I just want to exchange the shoe for the right size, but he keeps mentioning the return price without the receipt which was half the price of the shoe. I left, went back to kids foot locker and they suggested I go to Champs. I went to Champs and they did the exchange with no problem. I went back to this store to tell Mike about the easy process I had at Champs and he insisted that he was going to do the same thing, but he was just telling me the price it would be to return the shoe which caused confusion because I never once asked him for a refund. I wouldn’t have her try on 2 different sizes of the same shoe and agree on a size and say “I want to return them instead.” It was a total mess.
In my opinion the store is pretty pricey.. It's my grandsons favorite shoe store. He picked out a nice pair of shoes. But if you get the grades and stay on the honor roll. I consider it a small price to pay.
Horrible customer service. I asked about running shoes for low arches and plantar fasciitis and the white male employee told me it would be easier to "cut my feet off." The other employee refused to answer any questions regarding the shoes. Just stood their staring at me. I will never purchase anything from this store. I believe their behavior was racially motivated.
I had white Adidas shoe with the neon light pink and purple the lip was dirty and it was sold to me like that I brung the shoes back in and she tells me I can't get a refund cause it was dirty but she was going to give me a gift card or exchange what's the point in the gift card when im going to have to spend it on shoes anyway that I didn't want
Can't think of a better place to buy shoes in the State of Michigan.
Ide like to start off my saying that I’m pretty impressed with footlockers sneaker collection they have defiantly stepped their game up...Next I just want to thank the establishment for having a very helpful staff member I believe his name was Eric or something around those lines, regardless he was one of the most respectful, kind, helpful, and honest shoe attendants I’ve ever had the pleasure meeting and have assisting me. I purchased a pair of Nike Presto’s and I couldn’t be any happier with my choice that he assisted me in picking. I’m a REALTOR with Century 21 and if that man had his real estate license I would take him from footlocker and into my business because he understands the fundamentals of customer service. Unfortunately...I couldn’t say the same thing for the rest of the staff, but he definitely makes up for the rest. So kudos to him. Lastly id’e like to ask that you bring back the LeBron 17s because they are still a good pick up!! Thanks for my two cents. -Lorenzo C
I will not shop at the Footlocker Store inside of Westland Mall. They have charged me twice for a merchandise that I did not receive. I returned to the store to get the credit put back on my credit card. The employee said it is a corporate problem and that they are working on it. The employee had no idea when I would see this matter rectified although he remembered me shopping in the store.
I was in there 3 days ago and a young man named Eric helped me find a nice pair of ball shoes he really made my experience very good he definitely needs a raise
