My wife and I had a great experience at this location today, The staff was friendly and helpful as always, we had an expensive pair of shoes that needed to be repaired not shoes from this store. We ran a few errands and to our surprise they called and had it affordably repaired in just a few hours. This is the second time we have had a pair of shoes repaired at this location. Additionally, we have purchased shoes and insoles from them in the past with positive experiences. We like coming to this store and will continue coming in the future. Thank you.
Got a pair of Birkenstocks as a gift, wore for few hours and with Birkenstocks being easily impressionable you could see small amount of imprint. Tried to exchange and the lady at the front was very rushed, dismissive, and rough in her customer service. Tried speaking the Bruce the manager and he was the same way asking “well, you wouldn’t want to purchase shoes that looked worn.” When all I was trying to figure out about going to get them exchanged. Very poor customer service skills.
Stopped at 4 different stores and - the service here was the best; can’t compare the selection and assistance to the discount shoe stores. Found a nice pair of sandals. They also have a clearance rack with good styles
As soon as I walked in, I was welcomed by four employees and offered help. I said what brand of shoe I wanted and one young woman came forward and directed me to the appropriate display. Just having finished treatments for a significant medical issue, I was wearing a mask for safety purposes. The young woman excused herself, put on her mask, and returned to help me. I felt very respected and I was grateful that she did that. She helped size my feet and brought out different color choices of the shoe I wanted. I purchased two pairs and I'm very happy with them. I was in the store about half an hour and got exactly what I wanted. My experience there was pleasant and I will go back as soon as I need another pair of shoes. I highly recommended this store.
This locally owned place has a massive selection of big brand name shoes in various width. Their staff is very friendly and not pushy. They are knowledgeable about shoes. To those people who have posted poor reviews about this place- you need to see a foot specialist or a certified Pedorthotist. This shoe store can not diagnose your foot problem and also then take ownership of whatever shoe you select and guarantee to take them back if your pain is not resolved. That’s absurd and that’s why people have been giving them 1 stars? Come on- a shoe store can not resolve your foot pain! It’s up to you to go get the correct diagnosis and then get correct shoe type recommendations from the foot professional you went to. Most online stores do not post the full design of their shoe lasts with exact dimensions, so it’s impossible to tell the exact shape of the shoes footbed. There is no substitute to trying on a pair of shoes to see how it fits. These folks are in a prime location and they provide a great service to people who need it.
Thanks to Lisa for helping me find a better fit for me. The Dansko slip ons were not going to work. Lisa really understands those who need a supportive shoe with arch support. And a huge shout out to Bruce for fixing the straps so the Allegria's fit perfectly!
Two months ago I purchased a pair of short boots for my daughter that cost $150. In under a month, the heels started coming off. I brought them in and they replaced them. Then 3 weeks later the zipper teeth separated from the fabric. They won't replace them or give us our money back. These shoes were less than 2 months old and they blamed us for "wearing them too hard." Frankly, for $150, they should be able to take it, but they weren't even "worn hard." They were worn daily to school and that is all. They were junk. This store sells junk for high prices and doesn't make it right when they do. I have shopped at this store for years because I like quality shoes, but obviously, I won't be back. No quality and doesn't make it right when they sell junk.
I stopped in a few months ago and purchased 2 pairs of shoes. I wanted to try something different. I even tried a type of shoe I normally wouldn't wear and actually I ended up loving it. I don't know if it was meant for walking all over but it was rather comfortable as well as great on hills. I wouldn't go hiking with the shoes I got but for walking trails or town. They were solid. I did get customer service. I did notice some were around the register just talking but I'm not going to assume anything on that. The person who helped me did a job. I would go back
So many shoes to choose from! Husband and i came out with sandles for me and Hoka's for him we have bought shoes from this place for years now.
I have shopped in this store for more than 2 decades. After my experience yesterday, I will never return. Upon entering the store, we were told that our state approved face coverings did not meet their store requirements. I would have left at this point, but my Mom and I were visiting that day because she wanted to purchase a birthday gift for me, so I left the decision up to her because their arbitrary rules affected her the most due to a medical condition. After looking around the store for 20 minutes, with approximately half a dozen exployees standing around the register and only 1 other customer in the store, we had to ask someone for assistance trying on shoes. Although the employee who arrived seemed kind enough, she offered none of the usual assistance, but simply brought the shoes and set the box in front of my Mom. For me, this wouldn't be a big deal, but my Mom is in her mid 60's and has Parkinson's. Ultimately, we purchased the things we came for, but when I asked where I could leave a customer comment, the store manager, Erin, came to the front. After explaining my concerns over their face coverings rule, I was told that they could "accommodate" us outside or online. I explained that neither of us are a standard shoe size and require actually trying on the shoes and I didn't believe that she was going to allow us to try on shoes outside. She flippantly said, I'm sorry and walked away. If this store is suffering financially, it is not because of the pandemic, it is due to poor customer service, poor management and arbitrary rules. Their employees had no problem coming by to tell me how cute my baby was, but suggested my 66 yo mother with Parkinson's try on her shoes outside on a 50+ degree day. Appalling!
