F.O.P is a Fraternal and Labor organization for law enforcement. Kane County's Lodge is strictly fraternal.
The Fraternal Order of Police was given life by two dedicated police officers determined to better their profession and those who choose to protect and serve our communities, our states, and our country. Established in 1915 in Pittsburgh, PA. It is now a world wide labor and fraternal organization. Kane County Lodge #14 was established in 1966 and over the years has become a fraternal organization that is involved in helping the citizens in Kane County.
The Fraternal Order of Police honors the following mission: "To encourage fraternal, charitable, and social activities among law enforcement officers. To increase the efficiency of the law enforcement profession, and thus more firmly establish the confidence of the public in the service dedicated to the protection of life and property."
