Very happy with my first time here. I had Grace and she was excellent. I just wanted to relax, with not too much pressure, but not too little, and she got just the right amount. Her technique was very relaxing and she had a good feel for where I needed it. She also had a friendly demeanor and was happy to accommodate a couple of requests with my body placement since I have a neck injury. The price was affordable and the facilities are nice and clean. Bonus that the woman at the front was pleasant. So many times at these places the woman up front is mean or couldn't care less. Definitely recommend this place and I will come back.
This was the worst massage I’ve ever had. I’ve had maybe 50 massages. You’re very detached from the masseuse, which felt kind of robotic and awkward. It was pretty painful and no clear way to communicate changes. I could have tried more! But just didn’t seem possible. My friend liked hers, so maybe it just wasn’t the best setup for me to relax and feel safe.
The foot massage is pure bliss. What a wonderful experience. Clean location. Very friendly. Perfect massage. Felt amazing. Loved the head phones with relaxing music. So affordable! It’s a once a week treat. Definitely try!!
Pat and Sebastian are lovely. My entire family has been going to Massage for Your Health for years. I’ve NEVER had a bad massage, the staff also lovely. I have referred many to Pat and Sebastian with nothing, but rave reviews.
This is consistently one of the best massage places in the area, or even outside the area, for that matter. The one-hour mixed foot & body massage is $40 and is worth every penny. The massage "beds" are just the right mix of firm pressure during massage and soft comfort for a massage. The warm water foot soak is in a plastic lined for hygiene wooden bucket, in which my large feet mostly fit. The soak is accompanied by a head, scalp and neck massage, then followed by arms and hands. There's some respectful chest massaging, as well, in the pocket of the shoulder and a little on the side of the pectoral muscle. Arm part might be the only part I find "lacking," though it really is my personal preference - I really like forearm and hand massage, so I wouldn't mind this part being a larger portion of the massage. Before transitioning to feet, the therapist places Bose noise canceling headphones on you that usually play soothing zen/spa music. Last time my music wasn't, but I didn't mind at all, so I didn't mention it. The headphones are a really nice touch I've not experienced elsewhere. It enhances the overall experience and contributes to the sense of relaxation. It's a bit like a mindfulness exercise, as I feel grounded, less distracted, and more focused on the present with them. Your feet are then gently removed from the bath and dried. The foot and leg massage is wonderful. The therapists are capable of any kind of pressure you want, so make sure to communicate if it gets a little hurty or it's not getting in there enough. If there's a language barrier, ask the kind woman at the front desk to help. The foot massage uses oil, which they wipe clean at the end of this with a warm, damp towel and then dry. You then are asked to turn over, and the therapist starts working on back, shoulders, then neck. A little bit of hamstring and calves, as well. The hour passes quickly and you'll leave with a good stuffy nose from the angles and the pressure and a renewed self, deeply relaxed. Highly recommend. I've also done classic full body massages here, but didn't feel were as good of a value for dollar as the foot massages. I'd probably choose somewhere else for a full body massage. For foot massage appointments call early, as they are frequently fully booked. Part of me didn't want to share how great this place is, as I want to continue to have the opportunity to make appointments when I can!
Unpleasant experience. Walked in feeling fine and left with pain. Therapist spoke little English and wore ear buds, did not understand or hear when massage was uncomfortable. Had to reposition or hold my hand up just to communicate to stop, and even with that, therapist returned to the intensity of a very deep massage by someone who lacks knowledge in basic anatomy.
Pat tells clients that she is the owner of the establishment but she is not. She told my sister that if she did not tip one hundred dollars, she should never return again. The manager Sebastian agreed with his staff’s rude behavior. Please avoid at all costs. The establishment lacks sophistication and common sense overall. Your money is valued elsewhere.
The best massage ever!! We like getting massages but have not had anything as good as massage for your health. Do yourself a favor and book an appointment.
Great value - no frills but effective massage
It was the first time I tried this place and booked via phone a 90 min full body massage for myself Swedish and my husband sport massage. The receptionist was very nice and accommodated us as soon as she could; they are busy! The massage was good and I definitely need to go back. The place is nice, clean, and quiet to my surprise, they are located on a busy street. I decided to give only 4/5 stars because for some reason I couldn’t disconnect my mind fully — I usually fall asleep during a massage, but not this time for whatever reason.
