Wonderful place for puppies. I take my dog to puppy socialization classes and puppy training classes. I love the trainers and he has a blast every time he goes.
A couple months ago, my Mom brought our new 6 month old rescue here for training. He was exhibiting aggressiveness to strangers and just overall very untrusting. He is the sweetest dog at home but struggles with people in public. When we brought our dog for an evaluation here, very quickly the trainer said she assumed him to be developmentally delayed and that "it wasn't looking good" for our dog. After being basically told put down our dog, we immediately left the trainer. Now our dog is two years old and we have discovered what the trainer assumed to be "developmental disabilities" were actually a result of abuse and neglect early in his life. Instead of punishing him for his past we helped him work through his issues. We sought out the proper trainer who was willing to invest the time in our dog and he has come a very long way. He is far from perfect but we gave him a chance and he's a very happy dog. He was worth it and thankfully we were able to look past this quick and incorrect evaluation and save him from the fate the trainer suggested. If your dog has any actual behavioral issues I wouldn't take them here.
Great people, they do really care about dogs and, above all, dogs’ health. Let me add, not only dogs but also mouses’ one. We had fun, we enjoyed doing sports and we loved spent time with the trainers. Highly recommended!
Expert training from a dedicated staff who provide your dog personalized, positive experiences in order to address your dog's specific needs. Many types of classes are available for all interests. My dog & I owe Nancy & her staff a lot of thanks. Highly recommended!
Pre-agility here was so great! Arlyn was so patient and a knowledgeable instructor. She made classes fun for both us and our dog. We hope our next instructor is just as good. We have signed up for the beginners agility class and can't wait!
Very knowledgeable staff, that provides information that you don't find on basic internet tutorials. They also accommodated our very energetic, at at times aggressive pup, with proper seperating and room to get some anxiety out! Affordable, yet effective training.
Gracie has worked hard on becoming a calmer dog, without For Your K-9, we would have been lost. Thanks to Gretchen for great guidance and patience.
Great training facility with a wide variety of classes featuring knowledgeable instructors. I’ve been taking my dog for multiple classes over the last year and love it. We do trials with them as well and the events are well coordinated, structured, and have awesome staff.
A wonderful place for training. The instructors are experienced and great with the people and dogs. Train, train, and more training. Great place. We will use them again without hesitation.
Had a terrible experience with a beginner barn hunt class. Dog’s foundation in barn hunt effectively ruined. Zero guidance was provided by instructor, class was instead ran by a trainee rat wrangler who provided no instruction and did not appear to have experience with dogs with high degree of drive. 0/10 do not recommend.
