I can't think of the name of the Bark Park, but I found it in nice condition and my German Shepherd liked the water fountain for dogs! It could use some new grass because some areas have just dirt and sand, which I personally didn't like. My dog didn't say much about it because she was immersed in all the smells and she was rather distracted by that. I also saw where some dog owner didn't pick up after their dog and it was there that my dog just had to go! I cleaned up her mess and we went through the small obstacle course. She's still a bit of a puppy but she managed to listen and follow my directions to complete them all. I really liked that part and it would be nice to have some more obstacles that can really challenge my dog... Like the step ladder and narrow path above my shoulders and longer tunnels, stuff like that. I was close to giving it 4 stars, but held back because of the dirty sand, some thoughtless owner, lack of challenges, and the size could have been bigger, not to mention that the gates are in the middle of the park, not near the entrance... It may be an easy walk for my dog, but since I'm handicapped it was more exercise than I cared for personally. I liked the quality of the fencing and gates as well as the double gates for safety reasons in case it ever gets really busy there. Since it's close to my house, I'll definitely be taking her there again so she could master the course with little or no instructions from me. With a German Shepherd it's difficult to find enough challenges for her. If some upgrades and maintenance is done, I'll be happy to give it 4 stars or maybe even 5!
They added a great new dog park. There are separate facilities large and small dogs. A water fountain for both people and dogs! Great area for the dogs to run around. Tunnels, hoops and a jump area for your dog to run and exercise. Great addition for Cooper City!
Man this is my old neighborhood , I lived at 5707 SW 113th Ave the house directly across from the middle of the park. It was so nice walking out front looking at the park right across the street. And having a lake with my two boats behind my house. Best times of my life living there. I would give anything to live in my old house again A lot has changed since I lived there from 1995-2002 I miss that house so much. I would tell Anybody that's looking for a house with great schools in Forest lakes is the safest neighborhood in Broward county.. 5
Nice park, dogs and their humans. Not crowded at all. I just wish humans would pick up their dogs poop while they are there. It's not that hard. Bags and can are even provided.
Its a nice place. Neighbors are great, a lot of scenery. Its a great place!
Small but has plenty of shade trees Not too many dogs to play with Plenty of people around the park having a nice time family time Not cleaned 100% but it's mainly leaves The park feels comfy
Nice size park with lots of grass area. Well maintained asphalt running trail, basketball court, tennis court, and sand volleyball. Also has a nice naturally shaded kids playground.
Very clean. It was empty when I was there. Nice place to go. Parking is difficult. Eventually I found a guest parking near the dog park.
Nice shade and grass, but small area and not many dogs.
It's a nice park first time in there
