I visited the place for the first time to see an old friend Carlton, and I was amazed how clean the place was. This is the first nursing home I have ever been in where I did not smell any urine as I walked down the halls. The staff was friendly, which is not always the case at most of these places from front desk to the nurses/caregivers. I met Roslind Stokes and the Mgmt staff who were very nice and helpful. I had been searching for my old best friend for 3 years, they were helpful from the first second I walked in. I recommend this place. I have been to many and they all were bad, except this one. Whatever the new Director Ms Smith, Ms Stokes, and the others did in the last 2 months from reading the reviews, they are doing a fantastic job. These patients need quality care. They are us in the future and we need to give them they care that we would want for ourselves. God will bless you for it.

This place is HELL, understaffed, horrible nurses. Do not send your love ones here. The second floor is worst of all. Lots of cover up. SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN
If I could give zero stars I would. They were disrespectful from the door. Two african ladies. They knew I was arriving, I came in one lady never even looked up at me. The other lady never looked at me ither, she just pointed and told transportation where the room is. came here three days ago. The walls are horrible, need paint job. There is "no" hot water. My first night here I saw what appeared to be a bed bug. This is hell. I wouldn't dare eat their food
My brother was admitted here after having a stroke. My sister and I went to visit him and they had him just laying there with no tv or radio on. His fingernails were disgusting, his lips/ mouth were so dry. He was struggling to breathe and I asked had he been given a breathing treatment since he’s been there almost two weeks and the aide said no. Had to make them give him a breathing treatment while I was there amongst other things. Forget about trying to call them to check up on a loved one. I was hung up on or the phone just rang forever. The staff definitely does not care. They seem to forget that they could be in a sick person's shoes or a family member could be. This place definitely should not be in operation.
The service and care my 91 year old Grandma received was incredibility disappointing. The staff apparently is not terribly concerned about providing proper assistance and attention to the patients in their care. My Grandmother wound up with bed sores on her backside, being extremely dehydrated, and as result of dehydration, likely developed kidney failure. Now my Grandmother is dead...and I will never know what actually happened. If I could give them zero stars I would!!!
I called this place on a saturday to speak to family friend that lives there, and the receptionist was very rude. She tranferred me to the nurse's station and they never picked up. I hung up and called right back, and the receptionist was even more ruder then before her attitude was like "what you want me to do about it." I gave up after several attempts of reaching the nurse' station. I called the next day. The African nurse caring for the family friend had a worse attitude then the receptionist. I wish i knew who i could report this nursing home to, so that they can inspect this facility, if they treated me like this over the phone, i can imagine how they are treating the elderly patients here.
My daughter’s father was placed here on 4/12/19 I was able to go see him on 4/13/19 when I first walked into the receptionist area I was like this isn’t bad. Once I went passed the double doors it smelled bad. I get to his room and they have 3 to a room no space no television or phone no rails on bed for safety. He can’t walk so it’s crazy that they don’t have something accessible for him in his condition. They have gnats flying around as he is eating holes in the walls, walls need to be painted, old worn out pillows. I didn’t want to put my purse down how bad his room was. The supervisor was able to get him out of that room and into another in which I’m thankful but I will be making every effort to get him in another place.
Families Beware! a 1 out of 5 is too friendly for this facility. I have no problem in stating that this place is directly responsible for the declining health and ultimate death of my grandmother. Sure, she was an elderly women suffering from Alzheimer's however when we admitted her to this place she had a lot more vibrancy, mobility and "health" about her. Unfortunately, in less than a month's time, this place allowed for her to suffer everything from horrendous Stage 4 bedsores, pneumonia, and severe dehydration. And to add insult to injury, this place not only screwed up her paperwork for her Medical Assistance but tried to deny her a peaceful transition of hospice. If that wasn't enough, key members of the staff would perform several forms of "butt-covering", "victim-blaming", or just plain claim stupidity when questioned by hospital staff, social workers and patience advocates. Yes, YES, legal actions will be taken. The cruelty they have inflicted upon my grandmother and the heinous nightmare they've put on my family is also happening to others there as I type. If you can help it, and you value your health, sanity or the livelihood of your loved-ones, steer clear of this facility! If their name EVER comes up for admission... RUN!
This health and rehab center is a complete joke!! Do not recommend your family to come here for treatment or rehab. The workers/nurses need MORE TRAINING. You can tell this facility hires ANYONE. The food is terrible and small portioned. I got more food in elementary school then my mother received here. AND THE REAL REASON why I’m writing this review is because they ran out of my mothers medication!!! She had to go a whole day without receiving her pain medicine after a knee replacement! imagine the pain she was in and theirs nothing she or the nurses can do about it. I would not recommend a person let alone a pet go to this Bullsh*t of a health and rehab center!!!
