Delivered a load of lumber to theme this morning arrived 2 minutes early told me when I went into the office to go back outside till 7 . Rudest staff I ever met if it up to me I would brought load back
Needed replacement parts for Anderson Sliding Glass doors. Leo was very helpful finding the parts as the doors are over 20 years old. He took the time with a complete novice like me and got what I needed
This place is an absolute joke. All 4 times I’ve been there was a nightmare. The salesmen upstairs are so past their prime, many mistakes every order. Deliveries never come when told. No one ever calls you when order is in. Listen to this...they even charge you for more than what you ordered if they mistankenly order more. You read that correct. Said they HAD to charge me because more came in, than was originally special ordered! YOU EAT THAT COST, NOT ME!!! Totally insane. Also the new young polish guy in the shack is just awful. Stop going there people, wake up! Please shut down Forestville Lumber.
This place has gone so far down hill the past few years. The old geezers upstairs need to retire and go live alone where they can be miserable in peace. They keep hiring foreigners for the shed that can’t get orders right. And one day they will build an actual indoor facility for the trim instead of the barn door, let’s everything get nasty and worped.
Very rude lady answering the phone. Zero customer service skills. As a customer and small business owner I am applauded by this. I can’t imagine that any business owner would tolerate there customers being treated like that. A company is nothing without good customer service...
I am very remiss to post a negative review of a small business. Especially one that I have many years ago purchased things from and have been happy with. I recommend the rude woman answering the phone try to be more professional and polite.
So unless you like rude people, don't go here. I called to get a price on a chimney cap. The woman who answered the phone was perfectly pleasant; I was transferred, and then a man hung up on me before even saying a word. So I called back and asked if they were having phone issues she said yes and proceeded to transfer me again. This time a man picked up barked at me with a terrible attitude at which this point he goes "what do you need" with just a snarly tone. To which at this point I said a sales person without the "tude" and then congratulated him for turning away business and hung up. I really don't have a clue as to why people feel its ok to behave this way over the phone, but it's a sure fire way for me to not give you my money, ever!
I gave Roger a diagram of my refinish basement project and he put together my Lumber order for framing my basement. When I decided to order through them they delivered the Lumber the next day. The delivery driver was great. He put the Lumber in my backyard for me right next to my basement hatchway. My experience with Forestville Lumber was nothing less than superb. I will definitely use them in the future.
Exceptional service,courteous, knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend doing business with them. Forestville has that one on one service you cannot get at the big box stores
People working at this place are totally incompetent. No knowledge of the product they sell and when they order wrong items they say it is the customer fault.
