I don’t even know where to start! This hospital made my child birth so easy going and comfortable. I came from my hospital last minute and with a week and a half left of my pregnancy. Every experience with the doctor to the nurses to everyone else in between was so comforting and close. Each nurse I had took very great care of me and my baby girl! I never went unheard or without. My doctor who I will be seeing regularly Dr. Hudson! He was also great! I highly recommended Dr Hudson and his nurse staff! They’re so awesome!!
I went into Forrest General this past weekend for a very quickly decided C-Section to deliver my 35 week old little boy, and let me tell you, the nurses on the floor of labor and delivery did not disappoint! Elizabeth, Sheldon, and Ashley in the nursery/nicu did not disappoint! They waited on us, kept us informed, and were super attentive to our needs during our rough, but happy process. I couldn’t be more thankful for them, as well as all the other nurses who worked round the clock to make us comfortable. Also have to shout out Dr. Holland for looking out for my health and watching out for me during the entire pregnancy. Definitely give him and all the ladies working with us a 10/10!!!
This hospital is amazing!!!! And the staff is out of this world the nicest and caring people I’ve EVER met. Would recommend anyone to go to them. They took great care of me in my stay there and I absolutely LOVED it!! The rooms are the best and they keep it so clean and constantly make sure you are okay, always checking in to see if you need anything at all. And the food is great as well! They make you feel welcomed & at home it’s like one huge family there. So much love for this hospital and the people that work there. They are thorough and explain everything in depth to where you know exactly what’s going on without question. Can’t wait to have my babies there when they are ready to be delivered
I had to have a procedure done at Forrest General Hospital Radiology Department on 8/29/29 I was there about 7 hours Brandy B. was the nurse assigned to me. She was very professional, caring, knowledgeable, compassionate and just so pleasant to be around. I could not have gotten better care. You are lucky to have her. The whole department was just great. Thank you for the great care I received. Brenda Wadsworth.
We had to bring my 2 year old little boy in with high fever. The nurses were quick to see about him and very patient and playful. Dr. Jennings was the doctor on the shift and he was playful and quick with everything. Overall I was really happy with the care they gave him and how we were in and out.
I didn’t know how sick I really was until I was admitted. I was in room 9919 and I must say the nurses, aides, techs and all personnel on my case were exceptionally wonderful. They went above and beyond to make me comfortable and took very good care of me. Even to the point of my day nurse gave me a ponytail holder to pull my hair up out of my way and make me cooler. The food I was served was great I was very impressed with the quality of food. I hope I don’t have to be in the hospital again, but if I do I would most certainly want to be at FGH.
Dr. Jennings was wonderful with my son. He was he ER doctor on call. Dr. Mary Alison Andrews also came and checked on us. The care of nurses & immediate attention was unlike any ER visit. I was pleasantly surprised. Dr. Richard Calderone’s training for his residents and advice to us was exceptional. I will forever be thankful for the care and attention we received on a scary night as a parent.
Had to bring my 1Yr old in for difficulty breathing related to RSV pneumonia on Christmas Day. They got us back and in a room quickly, and all of the ER staff we encountered were great! She was able to go home that night and felt much better by the time we left. Super thankful for everyone who had a hand in caring for my baby! Thank you Forrest General!
I gave birth to my handsome son here and I have never met nurses and techs that are so nice anywhere else. The beds were so comfortable and they provide everything for a good recovery. The food was a little bland and they don't offer any for dad but other than that the stay was perfect. I will be coming here for my next baby!
I came to the ER on 12-2 for extreme right neck an shoulder pain. The service I received was nothing but great from the reception to treatment. The staff were very helpful an informative about what was happening to me an how they were going to proceed with my treatment. Procedures were done in a timely manner. My problem was taken care of . Staff from the clerks to doctors were caring an compassionate the service I think was First rate an would have no problem going back if need be.
