Took my dog to the dog park only I'd ask him what he thought but he was having a good time and I didn't want to disturb him first thing he did was bark at the fire hydrant . Good room for dogs to run around and get some energy expelled. They would do well to fix the water fountain but I brought a gallon of water and a dish. Being prepared helped! And they have plenty of shade for them to cool off
So glad they've got the lights that brighten the parking lot, and even the big light by the dock. They were also doing some serious construction work on the bathrooms so I'm guessing they will have those up and running pretty soon as well. Always some sketchy characters down there but from what I can see it's not dangerous or anything like that.... Restrooms: In progress of being fixed I believe
Great location to launch your boat into the river.
Usually a quiet environment down here. Not used alot since it's a much older park in the area. Nice place to sit in a chair and read while the husband fishes.
I love this dog park except that the water fountain doesn't work and the restrooms are locked. It would be great if this could get fixed.
I visited Fort Smith park today and although it is very nice, the citizens of this area that use it need to take better care of the bark park. I was sad that someone let their dog dig up holes and some of the play ground area was torn up. And, even though there are bags to pick up the dog mess, people have ignored the hint and haven't been using them. We can do better as a community. It is a shame that something new and beneficial to OUR area has been torn up already. That said, I did manage to take pictures that I wanted to share. Someone please fix the bark park!
It's a great place to relax. It's quiet and has plenty of shade. I like to take my lunch break there. There are always plenty of picnic tables and they have a nice little playground for the kiddos!
Great dog park at the park. My dogs love sniffing and running in the dog park, as this dog park is not the biggest in town, it is also not the busiest, a relaxing time along the banks of the Arkansas river, including trails that connect to the parks downtown
Other Than RED ANTS everywhere --- Be Prepared -- Fit Smith PREMIER LOCAL GETAWAY.... Highly Enjoy - KEEP SAFETY Priorities
The place has great stuff for kid basketball court is awesome but the dog park no one pickes up after the dogs and when we took ours she ran over a pile and it had worms so for that reason 2 stars
