Detective Stanley was assigned to assist my family in locating my daughters stolen car. We were so surprised to receive a phone call only a couple of hours later that he had located the car and we could retrieve it!!!! He did his job very quickly, very professionally, and communicated throughout the process with us keeping us informed. Our most favorite thing about him is how personable he is and friendly. Thank you Brian. We appreciate you so much.
You guys should really do a better job with hiring and making sure your dispatchers have empathy and have more compassion with the public reaching out for help. There seems to be a recurring theme with your dispatchers being overall just awful. Do better! Your residents are calling during one of the hardest times asking/needing help and deserve to be comforted. I'm beyond disgusted by a few stories coming from your office. I 100% back the blue but some of your employees should be ashamed! Do better for your community!
Had a flat tire on my motorcycle. Officer Story came out with a pump, but the tire wouldn't hold air. Called for a tow truck. Officer Story stayed with me throughout the entire process. Very professional. Very much appreciated.
Dispatcher screamed at drowning woman as she begged her to pray with her. The comments about it by the head of dept saying dispatchers don’t always know what’s happening, AND? They can’t muster up compassion? They can’t PRAY with a terrified dying woman? Pure evil what I heard and the response from the department is cold and equally as cruel. I cannot stop crying after listening to that call. I hope Debra, the woman who spent her worst and last moments with an evil soulless dispatcher, has found some peace where she now is, with God and his angels holding her, giving her comfort she was denied.
I am from out of town and hit a deer last night which destroyed by car. He stopped and stayed there with me even though the State Police had to come because it was on a highway. I could not get ahold of a tow company or taxi that late at night. He got a tow company out and then went above and beyond and gave us a ride to where we were staying along with all our luggage. I wish i knew his name. But thank you Fort Smith Police Department. Great job!
Some of the officers I have met in this town are very nice and have answered questions I have had with kindness...that is, when I wasn't in so called trouble. Almost everytime I have been in trouble this last year, they weren't that kind. And on both occasions they charged me for possession 1-2 controlled substance when I had none. How are they going to throw somebody in jail twice charging them with possession 1-2 without the possession? Where's the evidence? It has to be sent to the lab right? I feel like they pick out the ones they know might not be able to pay for an expensive lawyer and just have to get a public defender just so they can charge them with whatever and make their money for the month. That's beyond messed up and corrupt.
The officers I met have been super awesome! They truly care about the safety and well being of the individuals. Much appreciation and respect to the FSPD!
Love our men and women in blue, but called up here and the person on the other end sounded dead and didn't really seem to care about the accident I had. No disrespect to our police force though.
I like the officers I have met thus far. They have been very professional and courteous and I'd like to thank them for the 50. they gathered for my family for Christmas. It really helped.
