Fort Valley State University Police Department

Never visit Fort Valley for any reason. It's not worth the risk of being stopped, handcuffed, and placed under arrest for taking a picture. Those nightmare stories you've heard about these kinds of places are true, at least in Fort Valley, Ga.. It's definitely worth your time to detour around it.

There is a very interesting video on youtube of several police officers from Fort Valley bullying and arresting a disabled man because they didn't like him taking photographs of tax payer funded buildings. I hope the victim files a lawsuit against the city.

I was a police officer and i can tell you the Lt who answered the call when my son's car was hit down there displayed some of the laziest policing I ever seen!SMH I spoke with her on the phone my sons parked car was hit and totaled and she had other calls to get to.Meanwhile I find out there is no ins.Why was it not verified at the scene?Why did you not know the girl was high ,when all the kids knew.SMH Never hoep I ever have to go down there and deal with this unprofessional-ism.I need a negative Star

Ft. Valley Police Department cannot be trusted. Remarkably negative police work. Unethical officers don't even understand the law they seek to enforce.

Avoid this city at all costs. They arrest photographers for merely taking photos in public and falsely charge them with disorderly conduct. Looks to me like corruption runs rampant from the mayor's office right down through the police department.

These officer are bored and looking for trouble. They will either break the law because they have no regurd for it, or they are ignorant of the law and don't know what they are doing.

Seems that officers do not know the Constitution. Lawsuit for deprivation of civil rights under the color of law is forthcoming !

There 4 stars comes from people who work there kinda like Dooly County because they dont care about the people only them selves
