The FWFTA is an Association committed to the development of mobile food vendors thru; training, experiences, community development, hospitality and small business success.
Our purpose is to promote Mobile Food Vending in a way that benefits entrepreneurs, local business, residents, our guests and the City of Fort Wayne. Our intent is to share this dining experience with as many people as possible while sustaining this segment of the food and beverage industry. The Association will serve as a resource on mobile food vending to the media, government officials, community and charitable organizations as well as to the public at large. We will advocate on behalf of mobile/street vendors that are properly licensed and certified and advise those seeking credentials with city, county and state government and to ensure fair laws that stay current with the changing nature of street vending. We believe in promoting local business, our neighborhoods and the City of Fort Wayne. We will work diligently with local Health and Government Agencies to ensure Mobile Vendors are complying with policy, procedure and ordinances. We strive to keep Mobile Vendors a viable option to our guests.
