Elected officials ask for your vote. To represent the citizen. Yet when you go to city hall. The employees are very helpfull and friendly, but when you step foot in an officails office you can feel quickly that they are there to serve themselves. Unwilling to listen, to offer a alternative or solution. Their favorite answer is no, we won't do that. Even hear, our citizens won't go for that. Yet even if you give proof of your own neighborhood association support, it will get ignored if the official does not like the project just because of his or her own preference. Don't run for office if you are not willing to listen to ALL of your constituents!!
Transportation to City Hall can be horrible. Signage letting you know you are at City Hall or the direction its in used to be visible but not as much now. Staff are not that concerned about helping citizens or guests promptly, the police it's hard to tell why they assist people. You can ask, though and should receive an answer. It has a public break area that has vending machines and an ATM open during business hrs. It is a great place to Bcycle, walk, run or see what is on the message boards.
The noise inside this building is extremely loud and annoying. I feel bad for the employees of the city who have to listening to this all day and not go insane. Also, change the program you use to pull permits. Its a joke, a huge city like ft worth should have a more streamlined system. People in charge need to do better.
The city of fort worth streets are horrible. It's 2022. And there has been no advancements in repairing roads in fort worth. It's like driving on a land mine field. Vehicles are getting assaulted by these embarrassing roads. These road crews have no clue what they are doing. I'm ashamed to take visitors from other cities to downtown. At least illuminate the lanes. You have to guess what is a lane. Just ridiculous.
For twenty years, southbound traffic has come to a crawl on i-35. Fort Worth government is ineffective. They want business to come here, yet seriously drag their feet to upgrade infastructure to support the business. No big company should consider Fort Worth to relocate to. The politicians of this city should be absolutely embarrassed of how this city is run
Extremely upset with the customer service. I called to get information about a permit. I stressed the importance of accurate information. Not only did I get the wrong information. I paid for tolls to get there on time and parking. As well as calling off for work. I lost wages and time only to think I was showing up with the right documents. Showed up and not even an apology. Simply told me “you were given the wrong information.”
Hey Fort Worth. How bout some more parks/bike paths/ running trails! TOO MANY HOUSES not enough parks! The width of the streets in residential neighborhoods are also nothing short of disrespectful.
Came here for the first time and was clueless were to go, asked for help with a gentleman who was sitting in the "Permitting Center Check in" desk and he was too busy on the phone. Very unprofessional for the building allowing employees on the phone when they are on the clock.
I want to complain that the Mayor doesn't need to waste city tax dollars on Why Beto won Tarrant County. Hopefully she doesn't win next year and she can study all she wants for free.
Had to go to FW City Hall to pay a fee. The service was quick the cashier was friendly. It was a much better experience than I had imagined.
