I enjoy shopping at the Ace hardware stores. Enjoy the plants and flowers, nice selection. Fortuna has an excellent fire arms department with very knowledgeable employees. Holiday crafts and decorations are really good. They are a bit pricy, but, very clean and organized. Very helpful.
I had a simple project putting on license plate that turned in to a big issue and 3 attempts at other places until someone recommended ACE. I walked in and made immediate contact with my hardware hero, Patrick. He took the time to look at the project, help me find what I needed and then proceeded to put my plates on for me! Customer service, and more specifically, Patrick is amazing at this ACE!!
I shop there often due to home painting and garden supplies and whatever else needs to be done around our home.painting staff always helpful and Theresa in garden area also very helpful..Mike is very pleasant always when he helps us check out
The stores will organized and clean the employees are vigilant helping customers but the merchandise keeps increasing in price and we the patrons aren't making any money our wages are still the same it is Injustice I walked through the aisles and look at all prices and I cannot believe the increase on merchandise these senior citizens of fortuna cannot afford the prices we are living on social security and we don't get wage increase they should give seniors a discount 20%
The service was Amazing, so friendly and helpful, happy to have shopped there and will be returning for more!
They usually have what I want. But you will pay the price for it! A replacement hose bib was $6.99. 2 years ago it would have been $2.99. I did not buy it.

Have ALWAYS appreciated my local ACE Hardware stores: Staff at my home stores are helpful and mostly friendly... While visiting family in Fortuna and needing some basic help with a newly purchased pizza oven, went into ACE and was a bit taken aback when I didnt get anywhere near the same customer service? Floor customer rep seemed a little put off having to help out but it was the rude attitude not the 1st time with this particular young lady based on previous visits Cashier that really set it off.
Always have what I need and are always helpful.
It will usually have everything you need. People were nice, helpful and knowledgeable.
