Authentic & Delicious Food We loved every dish we ordered! I also like the variety of seating options - there are booths, tables, and round tables depending on the number in your party. The service was great, polite, and very helpful! Also, our food came out quickly after we ordered it. The only negatives about our experience were that it was a little warm in the restaurant and there were several flys that kept flying around our food. Some of the leather seat cushions were ripped and need to be repaired. We ordered Pork Xiao Long Bao, Pan Fried Pork Buns, Crispy Garlic Cucumber, Scallion Pancakes, Spicy Mapo Tofu, Chili Wontons, Zha Jiang Mian. We ordered for 2 people, and let with lots of leftovers. The portions are large and the pricing is very reasonable for the quality of food. We will definitely be back! Here are some more specific comments on a few of the dishes: Zha Jiang Mian - the sauce was a little thinner than I’ve had in the past, but the flavor and texture of the noodles was amazing! Pan Fried Pork Buns - Really delicious! I think they came right out of the pan, because when my husband took a bite of the dumpling it sprayed hot oil on his lip and it turned into a blister. Spicy Mapo Tofu - The texture of the tofu was great and there was the perfect amount of Mala spice. This is one of our favorite dishes here! It comes with a small side of rice, so you may want to order extra rice!
I visited Fortune House in Irving, Texas, and my experience was truly disappointing. The chicken dumplings I ordered were nothing short of garbage – completely flavorless and utterly unsatisfying. To make matters worse, the benches were in terrible condition, with torn upholstery and unsightly duct tape patches. It was clear that nothing was being properly maintained. I can't help but feel that the five-star reviews must have been bought, as this place was far from deserving of any praise. My overall impression was that Fortune House fell far short of expectations and left me with a negative impression.
One of the best Chinese restaurants in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The duck egg yolk prawns is a wonderful and one of a kind dish that you won’t find anywhere else. The soup dumplings are good. The scallion pancakes are tasty. In recent times, I will frequently get the food to go from here. However, the dine in experiences I had there have been good so far.
Purely delicious. These are the best soup dumplings I’ve ever had! Plus, they have a generous lunch menu that will easily fill you up. The staff is incredibly kind and hospitable, and there is plenty of seating. Also, unlike most restaurants these days, the bathroom was super clean and fresh smelling. I will be coming back here regularly.
Ive lived nearby for about 5 years, and this place never fails to deliver! The pan fried pork buns are my favorite, and I eat them as an entree all the time. Their drinks are phenomenal as well! They definitely don't skimp, so bring a designated driver if you plan to drink more than one! I cannot recommend this place enough!Food: 5/5
First time coming here and I would definitely recommend it. The food tasted amazing, the dumplings were very tasty too. I ordered the beef in broccoli and the flavor from this dish was fantastic. The rice was a little dry but still good when mixed in with beef and broccoli sauce. I also ordered the Honey Walnut Shrimp and it was also tasty and sweet!
Nice restaurant. We got seated right away for an early dinner. Our waitress took a while to come to us but it wasn't a big issue. We ordered the soup dumplings, scallion pancake and egg plant with pork. Our food options came out separately so we ended up packing the egg plant dish to go. Overall, the food was decent. I would return if in the area.
I had the Singapore noodles and what I thought were chicken egg rolls. The noodles were very good and probably would not order the Chicken Egg Rolls again. Probably would have gave five stars but the seat I had near the door had the worst smell of wet paint or something, to the point where it gave me a headache. Also had jasmine tea which was very good. Vegetarian options: Seen vegetarian dishes on menu Kid-friendliness: Nothing special for kids but seen children eating in the restaurant

Went for the first time today and loved it! The soup dumplings, shrimp dumplings, and chili wontons were all so good. Also many options for hot tea. I got the rose tea and it was a very light flavor. I enjoyed it.
