After our Mother passed, hospice called the funeral home to come and pick her up. 2 guys walked in the house and said where is she. They did not introduce themselves. Hospice explained to us that they would get our Mother ready and we could say our last goodbye. This did not happen....Our mother was carried out of her bedroom on a sling, body covered up, through the living room out to the front porch to be put on the stretcher. The hospice nurse was In shock, she stopped them and uncovered our Mother. We were upset that we had to say goodbye to her on the front porch in the dark. Will not ever recommend this funeral home. Totally unprofessional!
Donna Collier Service was directed by Jeff Richardson, employee of funeral home. The service was very comforting and considerate. Not having a church family or pastor is something very different. But the people at the funeral become close friends after you get a certain age and live in a small town. Plus having lots of family and church family makes that stronger. Thank you for all you do plus those extra efforts you take in the sad time of life. Sure wish both places had larger TV screens for the memorials.
They are the best. We have had many friends and relatives who have been provided with their caring services.
