Not sure what's going on here but it's closed. No note. I came during store hours at 5pm Saturday and even asked if information desk had any updates. It sounded like it was closed all day, but the lights are on. Probably an employee that quit.
Any time before today this review would be five stars. However, today was a. "worst experience ever" day for the Fossil store at South Coast. I am a long time customer and have purchased handbags, jewelry, watches, etc. from Fossil because it is such a reliable brand and made with so much integrity. Usually the staff is very accommodating. Not today. I was interested in a handbag and was shopping with my husband. The girl who waited on me told me about the terrific sale and seemed nice, but I had to leave the store to find my husband and come back for the bag. When I returned, it was as if the girl was a different person. She was short and rude. I asked about the return policy and she told me I could return the bag unused and if there was any signs of it being used Fossil would not refund the money. Then I asked what length the necklace I was going to buy was and she said, "I think it is 18 inches." I said, "Can we be sure and measure it?" She turned away and did not accommodate my request. She was so off putting, I did not buy the bag or the necklace. This, BTW, cost Fossil over $200 and a very loyal customer. Sorry, Fossil, Bye-Bye. Wynndi D.
It was easy to get into the store. But the staff didn't seem too happy to see me. I don't know if they wanted to go on break or whatever. Or it could have just been an off day..
Super friendly staff and very knowledgeable about their products too. I was here over a year ago to buy my watch. I've been having troubles with it and needed to send it in for repair. The same sales person that sold me the watch helped me send it in to get fixed. Both the sale and the start of the repair process were quick and painless. No pushy sales feeling either. BTW, I love my watch and get more compliments on it than any other watch I have.
So after speaking to an employee at the Brea location, they actually don't open until 12 due to being understaffed. I think the least they can do is put a note on their door so people aren't waiting around.

I went in to have the battery changed in my fossil watch, I called in first to make sure and spoke with Jason he told me to bring it on over and it would be no problem. I walk and and a girl greets me I let her know I need the battery changed in my watch she says no problem it will be $10.80, I gave her my watch and she started hammering away at it like it was a nail. She then took it to the back 2 min later 2 other employees are back there. Finally 10 min later the guys comes out and says I'm sorry I cannot get the back of the watch back on, we will have to send it in for repair it takes 2-4 weeks..... Are you kidding me this is unacceptable teach your employees how to do there job correctly. I am no longer purchasing anything from fossil.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff at this location. Needed to purchase some things and turn in a watch for repair. They were very quick to help with my repair and answered all my questions for the products that I ended up purchasing.
Needed help with a couple of "vintage" fossil watches, and Christine was a great help!
We came here for one of the smart sport watches. Service was terrific and helpful. We found what we wanted and were very happy with everything. Store was inviting and clean too.
