Glass is magical..The way it catches light and bounces off all the colors of imagination. My fused glass pieces are unique, organic, an expression of light and color and free flowing thought.
The word "fotia" is fire in Greek. Fire has been used to create glass art as far back as 3500 B.C. Ancient artists found ways to use fire to form and shape glass vessels that were available to only the extremely wealthy.
Thankfully now we are all able to enjoy this amazing medium, to experience light dancing on glass, bringing out countless colors and hues.
