Fountain Theatre

Awesome venue! I debated catching a film here while in town overnight for business. So glad that I did! Very cool indie theatre, the kind of alternative every town needs. Indie films and live events hosted by welcoming and friendly not overbearing volunteers. It has an interior connection to La Posta, the restaurant next door. You can buy drinks at the bar there and take into the theatre up until 5 minutes before the show. I look forward to return business trips here so I can enjoy this place some more.

The back row of seats is great for napping. You can rest head on floor of section above. Very reasonably priced snacks - about half of what you'll pay at other theaters. I wish they had price list at entrance because I only saw it on way out. Too late to buy popcorn at Bowie movie - though got $2 Haagen-Dazs ice cream bar on way out.

Wonderful spot to watch interesting films. The location is intimate enough that every seat is great. They have a well stocked snack bar too if you come a little hungry.

What a fun venue run mostly by volunteers! A fun historical theater with indie movies. Highly recommend for a date night.

So pleasant. Popcorn is fresh w/real butter. Good indy films. $8.00 for seniors

I love the Fountain Theatre and the Mesilla Valley Film Society! A beautiful, clean theater, with beyond adequate sound. Plus the volunteer component makes it feal very welcoming! A perfect place to get lost for a few hours.

Charming historic theater with good seats, good picture, friendly volunteers. You can buy a drink at an adjoining bar and bring it into there theater.

Fresh popcorn, real butter and I can have a margarita from next door!! This independent movie house is the best in Las Cruces. The only thing is the website is a bit behind on keeping it easy and updated. But I love this place.
