Emily was wonderful to work with, and our earl grey wedding cake was delicious! The tasting Emily created for us was great, and we were able to sample many flavors that were beautifully presented. We received a few different illustrated design proposals at different price options, and we were also able to use sheet cakes during the actual wedding to help cut down on costs. Everyone had great things to say about the cake, and it turned out perfectly!

My wife and I went through Emily at Four Oaks for our wedding cake when we got married in April of '22. Working with Emily was an absolute pleasure! She made everything incredibly easy from setting up the tasting, choosing flavors, cake design both offering her input and allowing us room for creativity, to prompt delivery and beautiful results!  Of course, the Earl Grey cake was delicious too ;  Would absolutely recommend Emily for any event or wedding..

Emily made my wedding cake and was so lovely to work with! She took my idea and brought it to life in a lovely and unique way. Plus, it was delicious! We had the earl grey cake and it was a huge hit. I ordered a small cake and the kitchen sheet cake meant for 40 & there was so much cake!!

I am so thankful that I chose Four Oaks Bakery to create a beautiful cake for our wedding day! Emily was so amazing to work with. She understood my vision from day one. Not only was it absolutely beautiful, it tasted amaaaaazing! Prior to choosing our cake flavors, she provided us with a sample box with cupcakes and different icing choices so we could mix and match flavors and get an idea of what type of cake we wanted for our wedding.. I thought that was so creative! I enjoyed working with Emily and I highly recommend Four Oaks Bakery. You will not be disappointed!

I had a clear vision of what I wanted for my wedding, but it took time to find who could make it happen. I did a lot of research to find vendors in Pittsburgh that could do what I was looking for I am from Brazil and the wedding culture there is different from the US. When I saw Emily's work on Instagram pictures, I was impressed. She seemed creative, authentic, delicate and a perfectionist, all qualities I was looking for in a wedding cake artist. It was easy to get in contact with her and to schedule the tasting. My husband and I had a blast at our first meeting with Emily. She was interested in us, in our story, and she was very attentive to every word I was saying regarding my vision of the wedding. She is so easy to talk to, always smiley and kind. And oh my the cake was delicious! Seriously the best cake I had in Pittsburgh I'm picky with cake because we make it differently in Brazil and usually I find the ones in the US too sweet. A couple days later, Emily sent me two sketches of the cake art. Now comes the hard part: how to choose between two beautiful cakes that were even better than I could have imagined? She nailed it twice! Finally, I chose one hoping to order the other at some point in my life and let Emily do her job. I think it's important to give freedom for artists to create the best version of their work, and at this point, I trusted her entirely. She could do anything she wanted and I knew I could relax and that I would have a great surprise on the wedding day. That's exactly what happened. I was so excited to see the cake table that I actually went to the cake room in my wedding dress for a sneak peak before walking down the aisle. When I saw the cake and the cupcakes I was amazed. They were so perfect, so delicate. The colors, the look, the taste, everything was impeccable. As I already expected, the guests loved it and commented how great the cake/cupcakes were. I surely recommend Emily's work and I guarantee you will have a great experience with her as well.

Emily is the best around! She is attentive to detail and your vision, and the result is better than anything I could have imagined for our wedding cake! And obviously the cake is delicious! You don't want anyone other than four oaks bakery for your wedding cake

Where do I start? Emily is simply amazing. We had to plan our Pittsburgh wedding all the way from Texas and she was SO helpful through it all! Making sure she had every detail we envisioned for our cake right. And when COVID came around causing us to adjust to a plan B, she was amazingly helpful with that too. I also can’t forget about our cake...  it was absolutely PERFECT. All of our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious it was. My husband and I are so happy she was able to make our wedding cake for us. It was so beautiful and the flavors were unique and the best I’ve ever had. Thank you so much for helping make our wedding day special. I hope to be in pittsburgh again sometime soon so we can order another one
