Really good place, currently 45min walking distance from it Might ask if they need someone to clean the dishes at the pub.
Very nice store that a few years ago added a bar and lounge, and a nice landscaping in the back. Live music is playing at times. Beautiful at night. Nice to have locally owned place such as this, especially a location to meet up with friends. Only negative is the prices. The grocery is very pricey compared to other establishments. However, it is the only store on island, so no competition.
How do you charge $8 for a bitesize sandwich!! What a rip off. Don’t buy a sandwich here
It's a great convenience store/deli/pub in the evenings. The folks who staff it are always pleasant and it's got a family feel. It's got just about everything thing we need when relaxing "at the beach." The FI pizzas are quality. Also the coffee is decent in the mornings and they have a solid selection of beer. Zogs is popular in the evenings as a brew pub.
The Fox Island Store offers a local corner market feel. The staff knows most everyone. They are overpriced, but what are you going to do, drive to Fred Meyer or Safeway? For the convenience of being able to stay on the island it is absolutely worth it. With Zogs on site you can enjoy a glass of wine or a beer, or fill a growler to make the trip more enjoyable.
This Fox Island Grocery and Deli is a terrific island gem. The most friendly staff ever, always there to meet our needs. Of course the addition on Zog's pub is a well kept secret, that we don't want to share with off island foreigners, just kidding.
If you cannot walk there on your own two feet, accessing this venue is nearly impossible. The beer was great, but certainly not worth the trek over gravel on uneven ground with my manual scooter which I need while my broken foot bones heal! Next time, I will make sure i can walk.
Pretty well stocked. Been coming here since I was a kid. Beats driving all the way to the harbor if you forgot something. Even better now that they incorporated the bar and restaurant in the back. Parking can fill up during peak hours so be prepared for that. Also not bad prices for gas so if you're on empty go ahead and fill up.
This is the only grocery store on Fox Island it's sort of a cross between a convenience store and a grocery store and a deli. It has a gas station attached there is a drive-through espresso in the parking lot. The store is clean and the staff is helpful. There's also a bar attached that is open in the evenings. Occasionally they have live music.
This place is a total ripoff. Gas is a dollar more per gallon then most places. A pack of smokes are $11. And for a sandwich like one can make in their own kitchen is $8. It is a better idea to just drive the extra few miles to a different place. It can save you a lot of money.
