The best vet all around! My family has been coming here for over 20 years. They are very knowledgeable & go above & beyond! If they can’t figure something out, they do every thing they can to help out or find an answer/solution. Pam & Dr. C are the best! I’ve tried other vets & nothing compares to Fox Valley, I even moved over 45 minutes away & still make the drive just to bring my pets here!
I’ve never taken my pets to a clinic that loves animals as much as the folks at Fox Valley. Prices are reasonable, the techs and doctors are incredibly kind, and in my humble opinion they have their priorities exactly where they should be. And our puggle absolutely loves them too.
I called today to schedule my dog. She abruptly said we are booking a month out and to call you old vet to get her in sooner. I told her that the old vet isn’t an option. She said well that’s what we recommend you do. I said again, that’s not an option. She said well give me your number I’ll call you back this afternoon. She never asked my name. And surprisingly no call back. I don’t know how this place has high reviews.
I absolutely recommend this vet to anyone and everyone! They take such amazing care of both my puppies. I couldn’t ask for better veterinary staff. They always find a way to fit me in asap when one of my pups comes down with something, they are also not that expensive and keep me well informed about pricing when it comes to diagnostics and vaccines. Had to bring in my boy Chico for some x rays and as they walked to the back I could hear one of the techs say she loves my dog and just wanted to pet him all day. That comment alone made my whole day. Thank you to all the staff of Fox Lake Animal Hospital. Chico and Layla love all of you!
If you need a Vet where everyone really cares about your pets needs short and long term, this is the place. We have had 1 cat and 9 dogs over 40 years receive the greatest of care from knowledgeable and friendly staff.
Receptionists appear bothered every time when checking in, felt like I should apologize for being there. The vet techs are sweet. Doctor B and Doctor Sheridan are nice and seem genuine with concerns I had and would be my only reason to continue going. Doctor T cat doc, light hair was so uncomfortable to be around that I forgot I was at a vet clinic. Doctor McCormick, though friendly and nice, is medical/test service-driven without care for your financial situation. It would have been nice to be spoken to about costs, side effects, and alternative routes. 3 stars is appropriate for the amount of times I’ve gone there about 8-10 and services I’ve received.
Brought out cat in to have its teeth cleaned. Dropped her off in the morning and when we went to pick her up was told they pulled 2 of her teeth due to them being cracked. So the bill is $1000? Really didn't expect that. You would think that they would call and ask if we wanted this service done or if we could even afford to have this done? But nope not even a call. Not very happy about that. They did do a good job and where nice to deal with but to charge that much without even getting our approval first is not right and should not be done by any business.
Very friendly staff, and very informative on ways to keep our 2 cats healthy. The Dr. Even gave us his own written recipe for a "kitty smoothie" to increase our cats water intake, which showed me he cares.
Terrific practice. So caring, very good at explaining issues. Outstanding staff, great vets! Love this place!
I’ve been taking my kitties to Fox Valley Animal Hospital for over two decades and wouldn’t trust them to anyone else. Dr. Sheridan is compassionate, understanding and so very good with all of my cats… she’s truly amazing! Thank you FVAH… you go the extra mile for my animals and we all truly appreciate all you do for our entire family.
