We’ve been developing our breed lines since 1988, selectively breeding dogs with the primary focus on temperament, health, and structure. All puppies are sold with a written guarantee, verifying that they are free of all major genetic defects. A health record is also included, indicating the vaccinations that they have received.

We got our Rebel girl 2 years ago from Foxwood Kennels. She was a beautiful pup and has turned into an even more beautiful adult. So many people comment on how pretty she is! When we first went with Foxwood we told them we wanted a bi-color German Shepherd mostly black with little bits of tan and that’s exactly what we got. Foxwood communicated with us by sending us updates on her each week until she was old enough to leave her litter. She spends her time hiking with us, exploring the woods, fishing on the boat, swimming in the lake, and she especially loves greeting new people. She is a very smart dog and loves when we give her a task. She helps my dad chop wood by carrying the pieces to a pile and she also helps us prepare for the deer hunting season by dragging branches out of the way after we cut them down for shooting lanes no joke! Foxwood Kennels cares about their dogs and breeds them for quality. They will ensure you are able to handle taking care of such high-maintenance and high-drive dogs. German Shepherds are not for the faint of the heart. So be cautious of this before considering welcoming one into your family. P.S - be cautious of the negative reviews and consider the source. Not everyone knows what they are talking about.
I got THE. BEST. DOG. from this breeder. Everyone comments on how laid back and friendly he is for a “small dog”—I got a Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso. He is the best dog I have ever owned in my life. I have always gotten dogs from the humane society or rescues but a friend of mine got her dog from here and he was so sweet too Full Lhasa. I went against my normal MO and sprung for this little guy and I am beyond happy with him. He is the goodest boy

We bought a Lhasa Tzu from them a month ago and she is a sweet dog with a great temperament. The owner spends time with you explaining feeding, training, and other general information about caring for a puppy. I would buy another puppy from this breeder. Update: we went back and got a second puppy and he is just as sweet as the first.
We are more than thrilled with our Shih tzu puppy, Quincy. Dave and his family at Foxwoods Kennels are amazing dog breeders, they provided us with not only a quality bred puppy but in addition gave us information about healthcare, feeding, and training her which made us feel secure in bringing her home. I highly recommend Foxwoods Kennels for anyone who wants to add a fur baby to their family. What a professional and heartwarming business!!
Got two male Lhasa Apso puppies in July from Foxwood Kennels. Have nothing but good things to say about our experience. They sat us down to explain everything even though we're past Lhasa owners to us about training, feeding and everything else they thought we should know. I'd recommend Foxwood Kennels if you want a happy, healthy puppy.
I bought my puppy last weekend, and couldn't be happier with the whole process. I had been in the Milwaukee area on Friday looking at a puppy, and it was quickly apparent that the breeder simply wanted to make a sale and didn't care who I was, why I wanted a puppy or whether the particular puppy I was looking at would be a good fit for my home and lifestyle. I left without a puppy. A client recommended that I call Foxwood, so I did and they had male YorkiChon puppies, which is exactly what I was looking for. I went the next morning and left with Hamilton. What a difference from my experience a day earlier! The owners Dave and his son had lots of questions for me, not interrogating, but definitely interested in knowing what a puppy would be going home to. I felt like I was asked appropriate questions so that they and I could both be sure that I was bringing the right puppy into my home. The facility was incredibly clean, and it was clear that the animals are well cared for. Everyone was very knowledgeable and I was able to take the time I needed with the puppies to decide which one I would be taking home. When I asked to see the parents of the puppies, they brought both the mom and dad out without question. I've bought all three of my dogs from breeders, and I've had good experiences with my other two dogs, but this was easily the best of my three experiences. When I decided on the puppy I was taking home, one of the owners spent close to a half an hour with me talking through some basic puppy training and discipline techniques. Although I have had other dogs, one of whom is still with me, it was a great refresher course including some new training ideas that I hadn't used with my other dogs. I've had a couple of questions since bringing him home and the owners have been incredible with providing quick and detailed answers when I've had questions. Since being home, Hamilton has been such a good puppy. He's learning things very quickly and he's got a sweet and loving temperament. He and my other dog are getting along wonderfully. I could go on and on about how great it was to work with Dave at Foxwood. I have and will continue to recommend them to anyone in the market for a puppy.

Bingo is doing ok having fun but training is not so good yet pee/poop. He’s hyper to noise and sleeping is missing other. Pets
We had gotten Hunter from here and he has been wonderful I couldn’t ask for a better dog ! We taught him how to sit ~shake~dance before his treat ~he goes to his bed to eat it : so I recommend this place highly for a shihtzu pup ! He is 4 1/2 yrs old already .He’s our pride n joy !
